My kitty will lick my hand a few times, then rub his face on it a few time, then he will take a few nibbles on my hand. If I don't stop him, he will repeat the process several times. This is what woke me up this morning (he is the cutest alarm clock ever!)

It's cute when they are kittens, but not so cute as they grow up. You would be wise to put a stop to it now. You can use lemon scented hand lotion to stop the nibbling. They are love bites and markings now, but as the cat gets older the bites will become stronger, and one day your cat could grab your hand and rip it open.

my male cat does this to me all the time, I figured he was showing affection and it doesn't bother me, but ofcourse he doesn't draw blood either. Sometimes he will do it while Im laying on the couch watching tv, in bed sleeping, etc. When I first got him i thought perhaps he was 'sucking up' for a treat but now I know that not to be the case.

Isis does this, she starts by rubbing her head into my fist, then its like she tries to scratch her gums or something... Its weird, and after a while her teeth start to hurt, so I usually push her away after a while.
