I can't wait! I have heard two people quit tonight because they drop them off on the island and take away all their gear. I can't imagine, all they have is what is on the island and the clothes on their back.

Gosh I can't.
I have to watch FOX.
And if there is nothing good on FOX then I have to watch The Aprentice on NBC.
Although I've seen some parts of some episodes, I must confess that I've never seen a full episode.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...we were so separated at birth! I've watched every Survivor from the first episode of the first season...for better or worse...the "worse" having to put up with the Rupert lovefest...blech!
Sorry, I still have post traumatic stress from having had to watch that pompous a$$ week after week! I know I'm in the vast minority.

I taped it 'cause I had to work tonight...it's about 12:30 a.m., and I'm settlin' in to watch!

I had to laugh at the swimmers in the first part, did they really think they could outswim an outrigger? I did feel sorry for the two who had to leave, though you know they will bring them back in the middle of the whole thing. And who would have left that crate at the bottom of the sea? The dolphin trainer didn't dive for it? Instead they left it?

Enjoy, I found it a good first episode! Speaking of seperated at birth, little story...they say everyone has a twin, I found mine, in France, when in my teens I was in France for part of a Summer, under a study program. No one realize that Becky and I weren't the same person for 2 of the 4 weeks we were there (she was from Iowa)..until I happened to meet her (there were different groups each with a chaperone from various parts of the US), and I still have a photo taken of the entire group at Versailles..she's at one end, I'm at the other, and dang it..we looked almost exactly alike

I guess there could be spirit twins too

That's exactly what I was thinking!! Why wouldn't they take an hour or two to try to fish up what was obviously a very key component to their well-being and survival? Seems really stupid to me.

Oh come on! You didn't like her made up songs about Survivor! LOL I would have drowned her in 24 hours! What amazed me, is the group that lost the crate didn't even mark the spot where it went down to return later. Bye bye fire.........

It amazes me that these people make the same mistakes season after season! Don't they watch past seasons? Fire is the most important thing, shelter is second! Why did they choose the second island? There was no shelter there, so that means more work, less energy to compete.

Although you can't hide your true personality forever, for God's sake, if you're as annoying as Wanda (singer...sheesh...she would have garnered my very first eye-roll if I were a contestant
), or Jowanda (never, never try to be the leader, or boss people around...it's a cardinal rule), at least try to bury it for the first couple of rounds until you can make alliances.

Also, for the initial period, make acquaintances with people, talk to them, but for the love of God, don't draw a target on your butt by being, oh, I don't know, the first people to win immunity??? The odds are that you wouldn't be voted off the first round anyway. That honor is usually reserved for the most annoying member...yes, I'm looking at you Jowanda!

According to next week's promos, they try to go back for the fire. They'd better hope that it is in a waterproof box. Idiots.

I've never watched it. I don't enjoy gross stuff. Don't they eat bugs and stuff on that show? I am really not in to the reallity shows, except for Super Nanny and Extreme Makeover, Home Addition.

I'm too a huge survivor fan, and i have comments too!

1. why the heck did they choose the new island??? as others said, it was a huge mistake, should've taken the shelter, the found water source and fire - they've been set right now
2. i didn't like the way teh first 2 were 'voted out', i think it was based purely on first impressions and lies that tall gay guy told
<-- i'm not against gays, i just can't remember his name as this moment
3. i really loved the way they started this show, it was great - lots of fun. but to me, the best start was still the one in the original 'rupert' show - where they were left in teh villange to buy and pillage what they needed

overall, great start.. i was very excited watching it
