I find most commercials quite annoying or senseless. Feel free to add your own that you find the same, or some you enjoy or find cute, whatever.

Commercial:

The one commercial for some type of drink where there's a couple at a diner, and he's telling her some story while she's drinking, this drink, and suddenly he says, along with the rest of the people in the diner,
Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo - Ma-nom-in-uh - Doo Doo Doo Doo - Ma-nom-in-uh


Arghhhh I hate that song, it won't stop playing in my head


Commercial:

The one for a bank with ATM machines. The one guy who is bald and overweight and keeps making weird movements with his hands while he says, "I want to swim in ATM machines, I want ATM machines on every corner.......Can you do that for me? I think you can!"

Oh God I feel like smacking him!

i think its just too cute how you get worked up over these commercials i wish i could watch them

One cute one that is old i find is the toiletpaper with the cute dog... labrodor? Sp! gosh i forgot how to spell!

you mean the andrex puppy? when i was in school we had to do a project on Andrex's advertising/marketing.. It was really interesting but we kinda got poked fun at for it being TP and all.

I LOVE the Mahna Mahna song! We actually bought the whole Muppets CD just to have that song! LOL I haven't seen that commercial though.

Hmm, I love the commercials (I don't think they are playing anymore) for Century 21 real estate that had the kitties in it. Those were so cute!

i HATE with a capital H A T E the e-sure ads, people over here will probably know what im talkin bout
they are so pathetic! they have stupid people prancing around in front of the screen shouting 'hello mum' and 'calm down its only a commercial' these people could not act to save their life, how this ad got aired i do not know

this is what i feel like doin to my tv everytime it comes on

Right now my favourite commercials are the ones for the Capitol One card with David Spade. I don't know why but they crack me up everytime I see them!

Working customer service, in a call center, I love those ads.

My current favorite is the new Whiskas ad, with all of the lions, tigers and leopards gathering around the house, where Whiskas are being served.

Does anyone remember the TWIST TO OPEN guy from a Miller Lite campaign a few years ago? That's my all-time favorite ad campaign. For those of you who missed it you see this balding, overweight average Joe in his a-shirt and boxers doing the twist, but you don't know why. Eventually you see that the label on his beer bottle says "twist to open". I miss that guy!

I can't say as there's any commercials that I like. But I really really hate infomercials! They make people look like such stupid morons, it's ridiculous!

Oh I like that Whiskas one as well!
I really like a couple of the Geico commercials with the Gecko. I like the one where they have him doing the robot and also the one where he and the one guy they always use are going around the country to get higher customer satisfaction and they go to a house with a lot of cats. The guy asks, "What do you feed them," as they all surround the gecko. Then she says, "Well I have a very special cat food that I feed them, but mostly they like fresh things." It's something to that effect anyway. Then the kitty to the right of the screen (as they show a shot from the gecko's perspective) licks his lips.
That cracks me up.

There used to be this commercial with two guys in an office. Well, one of them is going on and on about how the other one is from Canada....
"Do you live in an igloo? Seen any polar bears lately? No doot aboot it!" etc, and finally, the candian guy has had enough, drops what he's holding and jersey's the guy! Cracked me up. I think it was a Molson Canadian commercial.

I HATE the new saturn commercials, especially the one with the woman talking about her son "...he was 14 days late....blah blah blah....that's why I bought a saturn" Tell the truth, woman....you bought the damn saturn cuz you couldn't afford the mercedes, just like the rest of us!

Did anyone else see the FedEx commercial that ran during the Super Bowl? Had featured Burt Reynolds, a dancing bear, and was poking fun at the things that were obligatory for a Super Bowl ad. It was very creative and funny (2 words I don't use often when referring to commercials).

Why Leli, what ever are you talking about? I bought my Saturn for the same reason the woman in that wonderful ad did! j/k

Your post is a hoot (even though I've never seen that commercial; our Saturn ads in Savannah are done locally). Frankly, I have a Saturn b/c that's what Dad said he'd help pay for

I liked the old commercials for that car,,for the life of me I cant remember which car,,but they had a few diff ones. The theme was "It just looks fast". One of them a cop passes this empty parked cars and turns on his flashing lights and "pulls it over". There is no one in it and he is baffled because he thought it was speeding. Another, a dog begins to chase this car and runs right into it,,it was parked. But 'It just looks fast". I thought they were cute. I think the Walgreens "perfect" commercial is cute. I also like the new "I cant taste my beer" ad.

Current hated commercial is where a mother is giving her child a spoonful of cold medication and all of it spills onto the kids pajamas. Mom turns to the camera and whines, "What do I do? Give him more? Or wait until time for the next dose?"

Argh, you ditz! You spilled all of it and the kid didn't get a drop! Pour another spoonful and give it to him!!!!

(This is for a cold medication that is very thick and less likely to spill.)

As for a favorite? The Tidy Cat multiple cat litter where the cats are hosting a big party while the humans are out. It ends with the persian with a lampshade on his head saying, "Where'd everybody go?"

well... my favorite commercial at the moment is the latest one for Victoria's Secret, but my favorite commercial I can discuss in polite company would be the one for... BMW? where the car is driving along while people throw things at it out the back of a box truck, all to The Sweets "Ballroom Blitz"
