Mr. Big is Getting Bolder

Well the big guy showed up a little earlier tonight...about 4:30pm. I had gone outside to see if I could see him and was about to go in when I heard a "meow" and I turned around and there he was walking up the driveway. He was talking up a storm tonight.....as if he was telling me everything that he'd been doing all day. He would meow.....then chirp...then meow...then chirp. It was so cute.

Here he is enjoying his dinner.



Then he decides to check out the other kitties, Leo, Abby, and Shelby, who were watching out of the back door.



Leo does NOT look too happy about the new man hanging around. Look how he's putting on his "tough guy" face.





And of course, Cooper has to come and see what all the commotion is about. These pictures also give you a little better perspective on just how BIG this guy is! Look how he dwarfs my cats!



Abby seemed to be giving him the googly eyes, but Shelby was not impressed.



Here's Jamie, my oldest daughter, trying to give him a kiss.



He's not quite sure about kisses just yet.



This was taken through my back door. He doesn't appear too happy that he can't come in the house.

Aw Robin, I know it must have killed you to shut that door Your cats didn't go nuts and start growling and hissing at eachother when they saw him? Mine would have. That's so cute that he tells you all about his day. I know you will be able to find him a good home someday.

Well, it looks like Mr. Big is ready to come in.........sure seems to love you. I hope he finds his forever home, whereever that will be, where the people seem to love him as much as you do. You've done a great job Robin!!

Really the only one who seemed truly upset was Leo......but afterall Leo IS the King of this jungle and it just wouldn't do to have another male around the house. I think Shelby may have hissed once.....but then she was fine.

Jamie's boyfriend said he wants him......but I'm not convinced that's a good situation. He lives out in the country and all his cats are outdoor cats and he said that some of them are not fixed. I just don't know if that would be any better than what Big has now.

Yeah I think you're right. Poor guy is still laying on the back porch by the door. This was the first time he got a glimpse of life inside the house and I think he liked what he saw.

He looked so incredibly sad when I came inside and shut the door with him outside. I just can't risk exposing my cats to something he may have. He obviously hasn't had any vet care and who knows what he may be carrying.

Well Robin, it seems like our going to be able to get him in a carrier soon, so hopefully you'll know soon if he is disease free. I can't blame you for not wanting him to come in unless he is healthy. I wouldn't expose my babies to anything either.

I hope he's able to be caught and found a home soon because that must be heartbreaking to see him outside like that

I have to laugh at Leo's face. He does look just a tad bit angry at the sight of that new big male outside.

I know. If that isn't a frown then I don't what is!

Leo has always had a very expressive face and I can always tell what he's feeling just by looking at his face.

I'm still so thrilled he came back. He's so sweet, I have a feeling he would. Wow, he really is huge!

I know....isn't that hilarious? Abby is a huge flirt though....she flirts with Leo all the time too. Maybe she just likes redheads?

Aww Robin - great photos and what a wonderful job you're doing with Big . You're going to have some real explaining to do tomorrow when he visits - explaining how come those other kitties are allowed inside and he isn't! But you' re doing the right thing - it's so tough isn't it? I hope he finds a forever home soon. He's a darling.
