Things you're embarrassed to admit you do

OMG I cannot believe this thread. We should have a slumber party.

I check under the toilet seat in case something is down there so it won't come up and bite my bum!

I can't go to the bathroom in the dark.. or sleep with the closet door open. I prefer to sleep with the door shut and the closet light on..

You know when you go into a public bathroom and it's time to wipe? Well, I always pull off the first 6-7 sheets and thow them away. I don't want any germs that the other person before me might have had and had possibly touched that paper......


Oh that, and I scratch my bellybutton in public when no one is looking!

I'm the same on both counts--but I didn't know that was embarrassing!

omg i had to wait until my coworker left for lunch but when she's doing something on the computer i always look when i have to get something from the file cabinet by her. It's horrible and I always feel like a criminal and I get all ashamed but I can't stop. I only look briefly but I can recount everything about the file she has pulled up or if she's typing an email or reading an email.. And it bothers me sooo much because I would hate if someone did that to me.

About checking the shower thing,, Well when I am IN the shower I keep checking to see if someone is gonna come in and kill me,,LOL. This is only when I am alone in the house though,,,I am a scaredy cat!!! (suppose I dont wanna die naked)
Oh,, and when I see a roach, I throw Conner at it and run,,LOL!!!\\

Count me as another that talks to herself. I do that all the time. Although I get it honest, evidently my Grandmother was the same way.

Also when I turn the lights out and go to bed I make a running start and hop into bed just incase there's anyone under there that will get me. Too many horror flicks.

I think we all can relate to alot of this!

I can't believe that I am the 1st one to mention this - and it is very embarrassing. I occasionally pass gas in a public place (for some reason I can't help it at book stores!).

Oh, I definitely don't want to die naked. Sometimes when I'm in the shower, and I'm home alone, I'll hear a noise and I'll get out of the shower, put my robe on, and check the whole apartment before I get back in the shower again (of course by that time I've dripped everywhere...) I do a lot of stuff like that. Often when I'm alone I go around the apartment looking in the closets, making sure no one is hiding in there (how anyone bigger than a kitty could hide in one of our closets, I don't know, since they are ALL full of junk...but I look anyway).

Heehee, pass gas in public, who me? Usually in elevators is the way I go! Oh, and I carry on conversations with myself too.....

Only when I'm nervous!

At least I'm not alone. My hubby loves to pass gas in a grocery store, walk quickly away and then turn to see people's reaction when they walk through the "cloud". That is just horrible!

This thread has me laughing my a#@ off!! When I saw how many peole said they pick their nose I couldn't stop laughing. I too, couldn't think of anything, but then it hit me. There is one thing that I do so often, that I just don't realize it anymore. After I take a shower, I walk out of the bathroom totally naked and walk through the house. I don't even worry if the shades are down or not, day or night . But out here, there really isn't to many people who can see me...and I doubt that they would want too anyway

Oooops, I forgot about this one too. It's great to leave them at the entrance to a store that has the 2 sets of entry doors. It will stay trapped in there until the next pperosn enters
