One of my cats, not too sure who it was.....peed on my computer desk, on my dresser, and my deep freezer.
I cleaned all of the messes cursing, as we all would, until I got to the mess on the freezer. I took a second look before cleaning it, and I saw what looked to be sugar mixed in with the pee. I knew something had to be up if someone was peeing on things.
Now, I am kind of upset right now, because I know something is terribly wrong....I just don't know what it could be.
I am sure you know what it is.....can you tell me? Also, how can i figure out who it is?

Sounds like sediment in the urine due to any number of things. All of which would require the attention of a veterinarian. Like I am sure others will say after me, take your kitty to the vet!

Also, to figure out who it is, you will have to have patience and some time. Usually the cat who has this sort of problem will be meowing in pain in the litter box, and I have also noticed, when a cat has a UTI their tails smell strongly like urine. However that is not always the case.

Most likely is is just a UTI, as I had a male cat that had recurrent UTI's and when he did he would have sediment in his urine. UTI's are treated well with antibiotics and typically nothing more is needed, although it can become a recurrent problem.

Which btw, male cats are more likely to get UTI's than female cats...dunno how many male and how many female you have though...

No tell your vet you want a needle draw, it is the best way to get a good sample of urine, and it sounds like your kitty needs to have a true sample drawn, not expressed-

Ok, it's been a few hours, and I still cannot tell who it is.
I have one 2 year old, and two 5 year old neutered boys
and I also have one year old female, but I've heard that she's less likely to have it.
I have a feeling, now that I see that something is wrong, that I know who it is. He has been acting awfully strange lately and sleeping alot.
I could be wrong though.....is there any way to tell, other than listening for yowling, or smelling their tails?

Watch for unusual litterbox habits/or avoidance thereof. Yowling is not always present.

Not sure what benefit smelling their tail would be.

Generally look for the cat that has been behaving in a not-normal fashion. Sleeping more than normal, avoiding things, being more sedentary/restless.

Give your vet a call and get his/her input on what to look for and what the next logical step is. But don't delay any more than necessary. The sooner you fix it, the sooner you have a happy/healthy kitty again.

Is there any way you can isolate your cats from each other for 24 hours, feed them a gruely type canned cat food mush to encourage elimination and find out that way?

When Nathan had his UTI he was in and out of the litterbox a zillion times an hour. If you see someone jumping in and out of the box, that's your man...er...cat. It also sounds like if you are vigilant (i.e. follow your cats around) you will shortly catch someone peeing somewhere other than the litterbox.

I made my appointment, but he said it didn't seem too urgent. I go in Monday, he suggested I feed them all canned food for a few days until I see him.

Kat_boy, if you find accidents with blood or traces of blood in them, please take him to the ER vet. I had to have my male Tron (rb) in several times; he needed cathetering, and subcu fluids and pain meds. I didn't catch it in time, but noticed the blood in his urine because he'd pee on things like the tub, sink, or floor.

I'm glad you're talking to the vet...

Best-
Michele
