Fav Things :)

I thought it would be fun to find out what everyones fav things are other than our kittys that is

and why? we like it so much so here is mine.

My fav thing is a Peter Brock print that my hubby got me he is my fav V8 Super Cars raceing car driver ( He is retired now

) and I saw this print one day and fell in love with it and my hubby suprised my for my birthday he got and had it framed for me it is my fav thing.

One of my favorite things that i have is...

My moms engagement ring from my dad... Because.. it is just self explanatory.. And since my dad is gone, in heaven.. It just makes me smile, as i am sure that it made my mom smile also... It is a Ruby, w/ 6 Diamonds on each side... a cluster of 3.. then 3 on the band..

another thing i love, is..
My bed! Its a twin size cast iron bed, from probably the... late 1800's.. it has really old mattresses on it.. and i love it!
My mom and my grandma found it at an antique shop and they fell in love and knew that it would be perfect for me! There are times that i just dont want to get outta bed because it is soo comfy.. plus i have the kitties cuddled w/ me!

my favorite things are_
a locket i got from my bofriend xmas before last, its a really big and heavy one, and i have a pic of him in it, also my bridgett jones dvd... god i could watch that film everyday.

hmmm? My favourite things....

Firstly, it would have to be my car (1997/8 Vauxhall Corsa Vegas) called Dave! I learnt to drive in it when it belonged to my Mum and then when I was 18, I bought it from her and has been with me since!

hmm, what else? My scrap books and sketch books, they are a visual recored of who I am am my developments through work and life!

oooh, and also my white gold thumb ring that has been my Nana's and my Mum's! It used to have a pattern, but because it is so old, it is just plain now!!

Mine are...
My teddy bear.
He is big and black about half the size of me. I got him on my first xmas in australia i technically use him as a pillow as he is in my bed. I have taken him to every holiday and nearly everywhere!! To think about it ive nearly had him for a decade now!!
Not only i like it, But teufel does too hehe when he wants to hide he curls up with the bear so he can disguise him self!

I also love my ornaments that i have collected over the years.

I have a necklace its black with a little purple love heart that i got from my best friend when i was 14, i had to replace the black thing because it broke after using it in the shower, pools and baths so much. I feel really naked with out it

my favorite thing is 3 things actually, my guitar, my pencil and drawing book, and photos i take of friends family and pets that i can treasure forever

My favorite things are my journals that I have been keeping since I was about 12. I have tons of them. A small gold cross that my mom gave me that was hers when she was a kid. Also my engagement ring that my husband gave me because he picked it out himself so it is special.

a few of my favorite things are:

a handwritten Christmas card that my dad gave me 3 months before he died.

my rag doll collection that I've been collecting for almost 20 years.

a cedar chest my Gram left me when she passed. In it is kindergarten papers that my father made for her over 70 years ago. She'd kept them all that time and I will as long as I can too!

my husband and family!!

My favorite things are:

Two Hummel figurines I have that used to belong to my grandmother (my dad's mom), who died before I was born but who I think I would have really liked.

A photo of my bf and me that was taken at a party last year--we didn't know the picture was being taken and we have our heads together and are laughing. I like it better than any "posed" picture of us because it shows us in an unguarded moment just being happy together.

A framed print of a watercolor of the Washington Square Arch,which my parents bought in 1979. It hung in our apartment from the time I was a little kid until I moved into my own place, and then my parents had it reframed and gave it to me.

My favorite things are:

A stained glass cat window that my husband bought me for Christmas this year.

A black kit cat clock that hub bought me several years ago.

A black hills gold ring from my hub on Valentines day.

A crystal hedgehog that my son Mike got me one Christmas.

A clock that my Mother bought me for my birthday.

These things remind me that I am loved. :-)

My pets, of course!

TCS and the other cat chat groups I belong to.

My friends and my boyfriend. My family.

And my time alone! and time spent shopping, at the beach or taking walks!

Of course!! Im sure that Sierra would have a ton of fun playing with the girls, they use the bed as a jungle jim while im sleeping... imagine that one!!!

My fave things are both from my sister (she is one of my fave people!).

When i was 18 she had no money so i told her to get me a bunch of dead daisies for all i care it just had to have some thought and not cost her anything. So she made me a picture with a bunch of dried daisies in the middle and all this wonderful stuff about how mcuh she loved me and all the things she loved about me. Made me cry!!

On my 30th she had a pendant made in the shape of a daisy. It is beautiful!! Whenever i wear it i think of her. Both gifts are really special to me and remind me of how lucky i am to have such an amazing sister!!

OOOHH. thats soo sweet! Ahh, my little brother, is a blessing to me too.. hes one of my favorite things too...
hes everything to me... he is going to be 16 next week.. and he still.. give me and big hug, and tells me he loves me no matter who is around.. and i think that is so awsome of him because most boys his age would be weird about doin that w/ their older sister.. I've loved him more then life itsself since i saw him! He was MY baby when he was born.. lol, thats what i told everyone.. too bad i was only 4!

That's sweet of you, Sarah.

Sierra of couse isn't a thing, but the most precious being existing in my life. In the same sense, people are not things, but the people whom I love and hold dear are so precious to me. A few of my favorite things are my stuffed bunny my Dad gave me, a beautiful stocking my Mom made for Sierra a couple of years ago for Christmas when her friends were making items for their grandchildren. It is velvet and intricately designed with tiny beads and decorations and Sierra's name in glitter, very special. Also, quilts hand made by my Granny.

Yeah, Skyler.. Is the love of my life.. We're the other brother and sister that i know of that are best friends... There is not a day that goes by that we dont tell eachother that we love one another.. and, its awesome that we can just hang out and watch movies.. like we would do with any of our other friends!
