On Dec. 29, I watched "Disney On Ice". Just wondering what is your favorite Disney film? I like Tarzan.

Mary Poppins....especially the song Feed the Birds...always makes me cry. On a special album of Disney songs, the Sherman Brothers who wrote Poppins and other soundtracks said Walt Disney's favorite song was also Feed the Birds. At every Friday/weekly meeting he would end the meeting by playing Feed the Birds, to remind everyone what they were there for. In other words the "birds" were an analogy for children.

Early each day to the steps of Saint Paul's
The little old bird woman comes.
In her own special way to the people she calls,
"Come, buy my bags full of crumbs.

Come feed the little birds, show them you care
And you'll be glad if you do.
Their young ones are hungry,
Their nests are so bare;
All it takes is tuppence from you."

Feed the birds, tuppence a bag,
Tuppence, tuppence, tuppence a bag.
"Feed the birds," that's what she cries,
While overhead, her birds fill the skies.

All around the cathedral the saints and apostles
Look down as she sells her wares.
Although you can't see it, you know they are smiling
Each time someone shows that he cares.

Though her words are simple and few,
Listen, listen, she's calling to you:
"Feed the birds, tuppence a bag,
Tuppence, tuppence, tuppence a bag."

Aw I'm not sure. I was going to say Monsters Inc or Finding Nemo but then I was thinking about it and I think I have to go with Mary Poppins. Probably because I'm such a big fan of Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke. Though I don't own it. Hmm... I should work on that.

Can I just say I like them all????

"Old Yeller" (not an animated one). That one always made me cry. I also loved the original "The Incredible Journey".

I guess mine has to be Bambi for nostalgia (spelling) sake. Pirates of the Carribean is my all time favorite. I like a lot of them. Lion King was great and the sleeper that I only I liked and don't have on DVD or tape - Pocohantas.

My faves are The Lion King and The Little Mermaid (that's why I named my youngest Ariel--I love the name and she's always getting into mischief!)
