Oh dear, he's jealous...

I never thought I'd see the day when Merlin became jealous. Hans has bladder stones, and depending on the lab results (which haven't come back yet), the outcome may not be good. So I've been trying to give Hans extra attention, and he's loving it. Unforunately, Mer saw us together today, and the look on his face was like I had broke his heart. He wouldn't let me near him for almost two hours.

Now, for the first time ever since I've known him (since June) he's laying on my lap. Mer is not a lap cat, yet he's pinned down my left hand, using it as a pillow, and I'm now trapped in my chair by an 18 pound monster.

I hope that he's just going to want extra attention, too, and won't take out his jealouy on Hans. I'm jjust not sure what to expect. Mer is so laid-back, never wants picked up or petted. This is just really shocking.

it could be jealousy...but it could also be that he knows Hans is sick.....When Emmet got sick...Mabby and Doofus got very needy and edgy...they would sulk because they were worried about there brother...once he was healthy again there temperments changed......poor merlin, and poor hans.....i hope things come out good for both of them
