For all your cat-proofing (and car care) needs - Coloured Duct Tape!

Man I wish I knew they made coloured duct tape when I ripped my side mirror off last summer. I could have bought black tape, instead of colouring it in with a sharpie marker.

Anywho, I'd thought I'd share this wondering new discovery!

I bought myself a roll of brown tape, and now all of the wires to my PC speakers (a 6.1 surround system - bought before the cats) are neatly taped securely to the baseboard so the cats can't get tangled in them. I mean, I had it done before this, but it was with the silver tape, and it was really icky looking.

I saw green, purple, black, and camo coloured at the store. I'm not sure how many more colours there are. Thought someone could use the info for help with cat-proofing wiring and whatnot, especially with the holidays coming!

I love that tape! Here is a list of things that have been fixed with it at our place over the last month: my car (until I can afford to take it to the body shop), a piece of guttering, a horse's rug, a picture frame & the guinea pigs' plastic rain cover! I got the silver coloured one though, thought it looked glam!
