I have a sound machine and love it dearly! My babies sometimes play and meow and chase all night, so it helps.

I hope your husband is better, Mary Anne.

It was a timely gift because the sounds of the ocean will drown out the sounds of bailey squalling all night, although now (knock on wood) he is still quiet and sleeping.

As I know she is online right now- I will just say Thank You for thinking of me in such a wonderful and practical way!

I also got presents from Kumbulu and Anne, but those are unopened under the tree- and I thank both of them as well-

I'll get that iron-on paper from Office Depot and select appropriate photographs for each person. My son will get a photo of Mac on his set, brother-in-law a picture of his adoreable 2 year old, and my dad is getting a picture of a goat that Sam (Wellington Cats) took and was kind enough to give me permission to save and use. My dad and I have this running "thing" about me wanting him to get a goat. I've given him goat toys and goat calendars and clippings from the want-ad about goats for sale.

I'm planning on putting everything together this weekend and will post pictures if successful!!
If you have finished the PJs I would love to see them Amie!

In regards to Christmas Shopping-

So far I have received a few present - in November I got my present from Mum, my PXT/flip phone.

From my Friend Lisa I got a Lip balm Set, a Pink Mini and a Black halter.

For my Nana we are getting her a basket with alchohol, chocolates and honey roasted peanuts.

For Mum I brought her a new hairbrush, a tea towel & pot holder set. Two notebooks and a 2005 calender. 2 purple wineglasses. A big bag of chocolate marshmellows, a long toblerone chocolate bar and a four pack of tic tacs.

For Mums boyfriend I got him a beer bottle carved out of wood.

For my Mums ex boyfriend [I love him dearly] I got him some expensive coffee.

For my Uncle & Aunty & Cousins up north, we got the kids some lollie torches and the adults a bath & body kit.

Still to buy for:

Dad
Aunty & Uncle
Jake & Tom (cousins)
Jess (sister)

As you can see, I only buy for a small part of my family.

I was so tempted to eat the peanuts that I had to wrap them as soon as I got home!

Yup Stephanie, next time I wear them I'll have to remember!!

How did I miss this thread?

Well, I can only post what gifts I intend to give... Since June, I've been crosstitching personalized Christmas angels for the family. They're all framed and hiding in the closet.

I'll be giving cake, cookies and fruits to business acquaintances.
Now here are some pics of gifts I'm planning to give to my close friends:
The panda set I bought in Hong Kong:

Little purses like this one for the young ladies:

Some dreamcatchers:

Sets of pearl bracelets:

What beautiful presents you have, and their so special because you selected them individually for your close friends while in Hong Kong.
Your cross stitch will be so precious to your family, you must have put countless hours into each one! Would love to see your personalized Christmas angels, too!

Movin' on up!
I got these, for the twins. They're not real ostrich leather but, the way that those kids are growing, no way am I spending THAT kind of money. I don't even have ostrich boots.

Several years ago, we started drawing names when we all seemed to have had a rough year and finances were low. We are still doing this and this year I drew bro-in-law. He is getting his National Geographic renewed, a fanny pack with the name of the high school his kids went to, and some knitted caps which he and sis plan to decorate and he will wear on his stump. (leg amputated this past May)

The great nephews are getting Slinkies and the great-nieces are getting necklaces.

Mom is getting a microbead neck pillow as well as me paying off the new engine in the van. I have also paid for a couple of holiday dinners, club memberships and a book for her.

Mom is getting me a new coat and 4 tops - which I ordered for her.
( I got the coat at half price!)

Jasper got a dry food feeder and the new van engine - so I can go get food to fill the feeder!

My nephew drew my name but hasn't asked me what I wanted. I wonder what he got me...

Wow, thank you so very much!
Sierra and I have just opened our gifts from Elizabethi, Eric, and Sasha! They are all handmade, traditional Russian ornaments from Elizabeth and Eric's heritage, and they are so incredibly beautiful! We have two ball ornaments, a snowman with crocheted hat, and a lighly stuffed heart with delicate bows that smells just unbelievably wonderful!
She would never admit it, but Elizabeth has just unmatchable talent!
These pictures do not at all exhibit the intricate details of these ornaments, although I thought everyone may enjoy sharing! These are so precious to me, as you and Eric created these with love that just emanates from your gentle spirit!
Sierra has officially welcomed them in by loving all over each one!

Look! Sierra's so excited!
