Jasper we sorry yu havin a hard time keepin Tia from lik lik liking her cute lil tummy. Don let it turn red, tummys sposed to be nice pink color unless yu gray cat like me! Maybe meowmy's gotta leg-warmer rite size for Tia's tummy. We shure if she fitin meowmy to plae more she be ok!

I wans to tell everybody bout my walk wif meowmy las nite. We wen wheer there's a big big BIG tree an meowmy let me climb it alla way up hi into the higher !!!

It wuz reel hi! I liked it lots cos I haven't climbed up hi in a long time.

Then I saw a cat wotching me an I jumped down. We was sittin like sphinxes an wotchin each offer an meowmy sed "time to go" an I complained reel loud

. She pretended not to unnerstand me an piked me up an MADE ME

go inside wif her! No Fair!

I had lotsa fun, tho -- it was cool.

Too much fur uz. Me and Luky downt even like to go owtside. Purrpaw tookded uz but we just sat by hiz feets and ceyed to go bak in. We r pamperd cats and it aint safe owt there..We lik to sit in da windo and tawk meen to da birdys an other kritturs but only wif da skreen between uz an dem.. Sum of dem krow burdys are da size of fiter jets.

Meomwy has been busy and also not feeling real good cuz of algeries so she hasn't been on the puter much so I don't get to rite and answer my kitty and hooman friends lik I want to. OK, everyone, Meowmy Kim here again. We're not really sure what to think about Smudge. With a temperature of 105, (and then some, if I remember correctly), and his third eyelid showing, you would think that his white cells would be elevated, but they were in the normal range. So the vet is worried that his immune system is not working the way it should be. Also in his pre-neuter testing, his protein was a bit on the high side, so they redid that. It came out that it is still a bit high, and the reason is because of something to do with red cells. So the vet is thinking there is some sort of chronic condition that comes out when he's stressed.

That's not so good. He's tested negative to FIV and to FELV, but the FIV test is not that reliable. Or it could be FIP, but she felt no "signs" of that.

Now this all seems pretty bad...BUT...they gave him an injection of antibiotic, and some pills for home, and when we got him home, he ran to the food dish, and then drank some water. He walked around with his tail up, then settled in to just sort of lay down. He's still hunching a bit, though. ALSO, I've been watching him and he just sort of flinches randomly, but then I realized that it seems to be when he's swallowing. He also has some yellowy-greeny stuff coming out of his right nostril and he flinches if I try and touch him on the right side of his head. So everyone PRAY that this is just a URI, please! We're watching him carefully. (Oh, and do they get innoculated for FIP or not?) Thanks all!!!
