It's Sophie!

Mum took me to see the vet yesterday, something about a free checkup after my spay 6 months ago?!.

I cried all the way in the taxi but we were there in a couple of minutes.

I started rolling around on my back for tummy rubs off the vet and i started giving her headbutts because i thought she was going to give me a needle like last time

She only checked my teeth, eyes, ears and tummy, then she weighed me

Mum nearly freaked when she told her what i weighed so the vet said she had to cut down on my dry kibbles

I'm going to starve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Help me someone!, i don't eat as many treats as Rosie does, and even mums cut her down on those

Whats a girl to do?!

Oh, poor lil Sophie! Doesn't that mean ol vet know you are going to starve? Maybe you should consider hoarding kibbles. Put some in places your mum would never find them. Or you could eat Rosie's. Doesn't she need to lose weight, too? Think of how you could be helping her.

Whereever you stash your kibble, don't tell Rosie. She might tattle to your mum!

Sophie? How does your meowmy respond to the "oh, poor pitiful me" yowls? Do you do those? I use them with my meowmy when trying to convince her I have to go outside.

Maybe the yowls will work if you collapse onto the floor at the same time?

misty here sophie, just thought that you should know that thier is something much worse than DIET it is EXERCISE, so might be a good idea to be really cute to your mummy so that she thinks that you are just perfect the way you are.

I've never really done them apart from when i want her to open the door to her bedroom so i can have a wander round while she's on the computer?!, but then she always gives into me easily

Jasper i never thought about that!, she flaps if we have to go for a check up so if i did the pretend faint thingy she would have me in my carrier and up to the vets before i could blink!!.

I could try sitting in front of the bowl?!

Yes, Sophie, collapsing would send your mummy in a tizzy and she'd drag you back tothe Vet. Maybe you could work out an exchange. She give you a treat and you let her eat one of her chocolate biscuits!
You know how your mummy loves her chocolate biscuits!!

Hi Misty! Yes, exercise is another bad word! My meowmy thinks so. That's why she is so chubby.

Well, kits, I'm on day 3 of my "Drive Meowmy Crazy So She'll Let Me Outside" plan. I have sat and yowled minutes on end, peed outside the box (once on grandmeowmy's package of grapes) and just being a general nuisance so she'll throw me outside.

So far - it hasn't worked.
Maybe I need Day 4...

Dere Jasper T., I have an idea
!!! Be reely good an sweet to yur meowmy instead toDAY to see if she will let you out, but if she doesn't go and take a nice long nap, THEN, TONIGHT after yur meowmy and grandmeowmy goes to bed, THEN start HOWWWWLING and YOWWWWWLING to go outside!!
, If THAT don work, wait until after they go BACK to bed and to sleep, then PP on the bed with them IN IT
, coures if that don work you bettr run fast an hide tho......good luck, yur friend lil jasper

Movin' on up!
MY mom did a good thing - she found a new kitty food that comes in one-and-a-half-POUND cans! Its good, too! Now, breakfast lasts until Mom gets home from work and I don't have to put on my "starving kitty" act, every afternoon! Now, if I could just have a whole can, all to myself!

Hey Buddy! Good to hear from you again! Wow... a one and a half pound can of cat food? That could keep me satisfied until lunch!
But I guess then I wouldn't get any dry.. Meowmy almost bought me some moist food in a pouch, but she compared prices and got me the usual.

Cheapskate.

Lil Jasper. I tried the yowling when they are asleep. Meowmy just yells shut up and come to bed. So I curl up next to her and she rubs my tummy. I know. I'm weak when it comes to tummy rubs.

I see, well then Jasper T., how about this? When yur meowmy yells at you to shut up and come to bed, instead of curling up next to her and getting a tummy rub, how about jumping up on her tummy and PPing
, or let her start the tummy rub and THEN pp on her hand
, course, if you PP on her hand you MITE not get any more tummy rubs
, good luck, yur friend lil jasper

Hi Kitns!

It gud to heer from all yu.

Yu kitns gots gud ideas to help Jasper T. get to go outside. He culd try what Norton did to get Katie to put him out -- it's sleep deprivation. Evernite -- EVER SINGLE NITE!!!
He cry meow-wow meow-wow from window sill to Katie's bed then wen she tell him go away, he go back to window sill for twenty minutes then do it agin meow-wow meow-wow till even me an Go Go were gettin mad.

Finally, one nite Katie culdn't stan it no more an pick him up an take him outside. Now he mostly stays outside alla time. Corse he don hafta cum inta eat cos Jose feeds him outside. He still runs to Katie ever time he see her saying meow-wow meow-wow til she pet him an fuss over him.

Las nite Norton cum in an have dinner wif me an Go Go. Katie tuk me for a walk in my walkin jacket. I gots reel gud at walkin in it an we went out on balcony of building. Norton sees us an runs up saying meow-wow like he does an we say hello wif our noses together. Then we walks down outside stairs an I start eatin grass. Then I sees big tomcat an turn around an high tail it inside an Norton follows an Katie too. Katie lef Norton outside an he started going meoooooow meoooooow at door so we wen back an got him, then I runs for our partment door an Norton cums too. Then Katie fed all three of us an he tuk a nap. Then he start that meow-wow business an Katie take him to back door.

At backdoor Jose's cats wan in, then Jose wake up an it got all confusing for a few minutes an other tenants waking up an looking out their doors. Jose's cats finally got in an Norton got out an it all settled down.

I'm sorry bout that fud thing Sophie, Go Go allways eatin my fud an other cats too, maybe yu culd try that if yur meowmy don catch yu. Then try to find where the dry is an get it open -- some cats gud at that.

Oh -- Daisy's new meowmy email us that Daisy still staying in the bedrum an bafrum, but she running all round an she playing wif her new Daddy too! So this weekend wen her meowmy an daddy bof home lots they gonna let her cum out to living rum an everplace. It sound like she having fun wif em just like Katie thout.

Thanks for reeding my long riting, yur fren, Graycie

Holy Cow! Does Norton stay out all night. I'd be too scared to do that even tho I likes to be outside.

Meowmy would have a fit too and get real mad at daddy if I stayed out all night and didn't come in.

It's good that Daisy likes to play with her new daddy. I bet she will have fun this weekend with more places to check out and play in.
