Ok, I guess I should answer my own questions for you huh?

Ok, you asked for more.....this is fun, isn't it? We learn about eachother....

1. If you had to pick between a Mexican or Italian restaurant, which one would you pick? Italian all the way

2. Can you sew? (more than just a button or a hem) nope, I cheated in Home Ec

3. Do you ever do bubble baths? Not as much as I used to, but love them

4. Has your furbaby ever fallen into the tub or toilet? Yep, Trixie and Tiggy both fell in the tub. Curiousity got the better of those two kitties

5. Where you ever a boy/girl scout? Brownie, then girl scout.

6. Describe the room your computer is in? We call it our "office" at home. It's actually an extra bedroom. It's got a very nautical theme to it.

7. Do you cheat at work and use the computer for personal? (like TCS?) yep, that's what I'm doing now.

8. Would you rather eat a hotdog or hamburger? Love them both, but probably a hotdog. (Don't even want to think what they're made of)

9. Ever have love that wasn't reciprocated? sure, but thank God I finally found my Jerry

10. Have you ever flown on an airplane? Yep, nervous but would do it again

11. If you had the chance, would you go up in a hot air balloon? I think so

12. What's the oldest thing you have in your possesion? My beloved father's kindergarden drawings to my grandmother. Must be 67 years old. Both are gone now and sadly missed.

13. Ever been bitten by a dog? Just a quick nip. I picked up a baby poodle and the mother didn't like it. Got me in the finger.

14. Can you swim? yes, I can

15. Where would you like to retire too? If you've already retired, would you want to move? I love Ohio, but the ocean would be great. Just not down south. Can't handle the humidity.

16. What would you do if someone left 5 healthy kittens on your porch in a basket? Take them in and probably keep a couple and find good homes for the rest.

17. Do you have a Wal-mart in your town? If out of the USA, what is your big department store where you live? Yes, we have them all, Walmart, Kmart, etc.

18. Ever been skiing, either water or snow? Nope, chicken to do either

19. Do you like to camp? If so, tent or RV? RV camping is ok I guess.

4. Has your furbaby ever fallen into the tub or toilet? LOL no - I keep the toilet seat closed as Kahu tries to drink from it - as for the bathtub, they don't dare to sit on the side

11. If you had the chance, would you go up in a hot air balloon? I'm not sure. I'm afraid of heights.

12. What's the oldest thing you have in your possesion? My first Teddy Bear.

13. Ever been bitten by a dog? Yes - by black toy poodles (twice by the same dog, once by another).

14. Can you swim? Yes.

15. Where would you like to retire too? If you've already retired, would you want to move? Scotland.

16. What would you do if someone left 5 healthy kittens on your porch in a basket? Take them in and find homes for as many as possible. Actually, I found three kittens abandoned in a cardboard box by the side of a rural Nebraskan road a few years back while visiting my folks, and found homes for all three.

17. Do you have a Wal-mart in your town? If out of the USA, what is your big department store where you live? There aren't any big stores where I live. It's a shopping wasteland.

18. Ever been skiing, either water or snow? Snow a few times, but I didn't enjoy it.

7. Do you cheat at work and use the computer for personal? (like TCS?)-Never, it is impossible to do so. There is no outside connection to the interent due to the high security of our computers and the information we access.

8. Would you rather eat a hotdog or hamburger?-A hot dog, especially at Hot Dog Charlies in New York State!!!

9. Ever have love that wasn't reciprocated?-Yes, I think we all have.

10. Have you ever flown on an airplane?-Yes.

12. What's the oldest thing you have in your possesion?-I think it would have to be the old Singer sewing machine. It must somewhere around 80 years old.

I refuse to answer on the grounds that it is just plain unfair!!

Jup. My machine is broken, though. I also cross-stitch.

Not often, but when I do, I love it.

Frodo and Pookie both love to get into the tub and the shower with us. Pookie is a swimmer! He LOOOOOOOOVES water. Which is good, cuz his beautiful white fur gets junk stuck in it all the time and he needs to be bathed often!

I was a tomboy as a kid and my mom put me in brownies and my brother was a cub scout. He came home with all kinds of cool stories about what they did. I got stuck making soap and learning how to sew. It made me furious, so my mom went to battle for me. After taking the thing all the way to court, I was a cub scout for 3 years

I have several. One is in my daughter's room, in a desk in her closet. Several are in my bedroom/office (it's a HUGE room) and right now I'm sitting on the sofa watching animal planet, eating my lunch and typing on my favorite computer - my laptop.

I own my own business and I'm a web designer...so yes and no

I have a coin collection of coins from the Braunschweig/Hannover/Magdeburg area of Germany (where my family is from). The oldest one I have is from 1457. Can ya beat that??

Jup. Hate water, so if I ever get in it, I know how to get the heck out!!

Probably Alaska, Germany or maybe the Yukon. Someplace cold.

Are you kidding? There are 3 withing 15 minutes drive from here.

I grew up on a lake in the mountains. Used to work in a ski resort, so yes. Lots. Hate water skiing, but the rest of my family used to do it every summer. We had a boat. I stayed on shore.

I LOVE CAMPING!!!!!! We just went to Yosemite in May for a week and we'll go to the Sierras for 2 weeks as we always do this July. Only 3 more weeks! YAY!!

I've been camping every year of my entire life. I was born in April and went camping that June

32 years straight...pretty good record, eh?

When I was 12 our German Shepard/Black Lab Mix Bear bit me in the face. I almost lost my tear duct in my left eye and I had some scars on my cheek and nose...most of which are faded now. He was going blind and we think that's why he bit me.

No...I wish!

I actually don't ever plan to retire...at least not from my most important job, which is being an activist.

Tank fell into the tub not once but three times....He used to sit in with Jason while he took a bath (silly boy, I know!). I think he may have liked it...

Umm, right now, our dining room (small apartment, both bedrooms being used to their limits....*sigh*)

Ok, you asked for more.....this is fun, isn't it? We learn about eachother....

Yeah, it IS fun...and occasionally makes you think about what you think...

1. If you had to pick between a Mexican or Italian restaurant, which one would you pick?

Italian, hands down! (I don't dislike Mexican, but I ADORE Italian.)

2. Can you sew? (more than just a button or a hem)

Yes. For a time I was making a lot of my own clothes, completely by hand. It was interesting and very satisfying. I had used a machine before that, and did again after, but don't have one at the moment -- sometimes I wish I did.

3. Do you ever do bubble baths?

Not recently, but I used to really enjoy that.

4. Has your furbaby ever fallen into the tub or toilet?

None of the current ones, but Shasta did as a kitten. I was in a bubble bath! She was on the edge, fascinated with the bubbles, and took a header -- came spluttering up the OTHER side, i.e. the wall, and of course back into the water. Never laughed so much in my life. But I was a nice mum and interrupted my bath to wipe her down with "unpolluted" water, and dry her off

In Canada they're Girl Guides -- yes.

6. Describe the room your computer is in?

It's supposed to be our family room; has hideabed and comfy chairs, sound system, dartboard, booooooooooks for days. It also has a whooooooooooooooole lot o' stuff that I need to get off the pot and sell, a bunch of boxes of my stepson's stuff, and assorted defunct computer bits and pieces. In between a humongous old speaker that Rob built a few centuries ago, that is not hooked up to anything, and a shelf unit that is stacked with books, videos, cassette tapes and LPs (yes, we still have several hundred of those) is my computer desk, and the chair, when I'm using it is right in the path from the bottom of the stairs to the utility room. The cats all like this room, because there are lots of private places, lots of places for cats who don't want to be bothered by other cats to ascend to, and a wide window that looks out at ground level on the front yard. Oh, yeah, there's also a fireplace that we have not lit once in 14 years (we do occasionally use the one in the livingroom).

It isn't cheating if you do it on lunch hours or breaks

8. Would you rather eat a hotdog or hamburger?

Hamburger, as long as it's not Golden Arches or one of their competitors; if that's the hamburger that's available, I'd far sooner have a hotdog.

Yes.

Lots of times, but not in the last several years

11. If you had the chance, would you go up in a hot air balloon?

I'd love to.

Probably the mantel clock that was a wedding gift to my parents in 1939

No

After a fashion. I'd never have made the Olympics, but I can get from one end of the pool to the other without drowning.

15. Where would you like to retire too? If you've already retired, would you want to move?

Probably to Vancouver Island. Rob's nearest family is all there, whereas mine is all in the east and neither of us has any desire to live there.

16. What would you do if someone left 5 healthy kittens on your porch in a basket? Take them in, get them checked by a vet and start looking for homes for them. Three's about all we can handle at the moment, though I don't rule out the possibility that one of the little ones might worm his/her way into our home permanently

We have Wal-mart -- not interested thanks.

Neither. They weren't in the budget when I was a kid, and the opportunity simply hasn't presented again.

I don't have a bathtub, only a shower. If I had a tub, I still wouldnt.

Thats tough...my house lay out is strange. The living room is huge and it's divided by the door to the dining room. So its sort of in the living room but not. In this part of the room there is my rocking chair, an end table right next to the computer with baskets and such on it, my sewing machine is in the corner and all fabric is stashed in baskets underneath. On the walls are bulliten (sp) boards that hold important papers and pictures I didnt want in albums.

I would if I worked.

Hamburger, I cant stand hotdogs.

12. What's the oldest thing you have in your possesion? I have some heirlooms that were left to me by my father when he died, a shawl of my great great grandmothers, an antique doll, and many other items....all of these mean the world to me because they are part of my family history.
