How are all youse doing this fine day? (well, its soon to be not so fine when the rain and thunderstorms come this arvo)

I am hoping to get the painting finished today, the house is looking so nice, I shall have to post pics of before and after!

If it does rain as it is supposed to, then I shall have to watch the Dukes of Hazzard DVD - it has been a while since I last saw the reruns on tv here, and before that, I was a kid who was madly in love with Bo Duke!

Tomorrow, I have a surprise birthday party to go to for a friend and then helping my landlord make a flyer for her pool party on July 4th, which we are all looking forward to!

I was planning on going to the beach today, my bf's jeep is broken and I was going to drop him off at his friends house where they are working on it and then head out there. Well dumb me, when it was time to get up was being lazy and told him to just take my car. So now I am carless, so therefore no beach

(I know it is my own fault) so I am going to clean out my entire apartment and try and get some stuff together that we don't use to donate to the Humane Society's thrift store. I hate clutter and keeping stuff around that we don't use, so today will be a good day for that. Tonight I have mt aunts wedding to attend. It is at 7:00, I don't really want to go, but feel obligated.

Today i have also been cleaning out my whole flat, its so boring, but it needs to be done

This weekend is supposed to be beautiful here in Toronto. Finally, we are getting some nice weather after all the rain!

I just came back from my landscape audit. This is a free program where a gardening expert comes and evaluates your lawn and flowers and suggests water efficient and insect resistant choices. It's bascially to make people reduce water consumption during the hot weather months and to get back to planting native species of plants. Last month I went to a Wildflower Farm that was part of this same project and this was the second part of the program. Here's a current pic of my long backyard:



I enjoyed this person so much I hired them to do a landscape design for my backyard. So next year, my place from a gardening perspective will start looking marvelous!

I have no gardening background so this service was really handy.

For the rest of the weekend I will be outdoors doing some clean up. I still think the weekend should be 3 days long. I doubt I would get any resistance on that proposal!

My Sat. is remarkably similar to my Fri. I will be going to bed in a few minutes to try to sleep for a little while before getting up to go back into work for the 5P-5A shift. Have a great day, look forward to seeing everyone this evening!

I'm stuck here at work from 7:30 am to 12 30 pm giving tests to university students (Praxis test). After that, I have to get my car oil changed and possibily have my brake pads replaced and do some errands then I'll be home watching a new DVD and just hanging out with my cats. I MIGHT work on my scrapbooks-haven't worked on that for a long time and have many pics to add! We'll see how I feel by the time I get home.. LOL.

Am counting the minutes until I can go home and be with my furbabies!

What an exciting plan for the day!

Originally planned to find a friend and go watch "Day after Tomorrow" which will be closed captioned this weekend near my home but have had no luck finding a friend to go with so it looks like that will be out.

We're doing the usual weekend stuff: WalMart, groceries, laundry and housework. Bill will probably throw something on the grill, tonight.

I spent most of the day cleaning and doing laundry. My husband and I scoured the front yard looking for more exotic snakes (finding a python in your cellar will do that to you), putting new screens in the cellar windows, and fitting chicken wire into the niches (in case the screens don't hold). Our next-door neighbor is in hysterics, so we checked out her cellar and screens, and assured her that the odds of finding an African python in a cellar in southern Germany are practically nil; we just "got lucky". LOL- I bet her kids will be doing the laundry for the next few weeks!

Funny, my roomate was up in Steven's Point, WI today taking the Praxis II test.

It was my friend Eliens 15th birthday party last night- It was so much fun! We didn't get to sleep till about 7AM this morning.

Today we've been shopping, now just having a relaxing afternoon.

I worked this am and came home, took a nap and scared myself when I woke up at 8 pm, and wasn't thinking for a minute, for some reason thought it was Sunday morning and that I'd forgotten to set the alarm and I was late for work, so I am throwing my clothes on for work, thinking I'm late and the cats are looking at me like" what the heck is wrong with mom?" then it dawns on me that it's nighttime and I felt like a complete idiot! LOL!

so Now I'm relaxing and catching up some things I need to do while Brad is out of town for the night, he'll be back early tomorrow am..but I miss him
