Hello everyone. I just signed up and posting my first post. I am the proud owner of 3 rescued cats (Chuck-a 6 year old Abby cross, Hide a DSH tabby, and Pipes- a DLH orange tabby). I have had Chuch since he was 4 months old. He was a feral cat.He still won't go near anyone but me, but with me, you won't find a more loving cat. He unfortunatly is dying of hypertrophic cardio myopathy(heart failure) but showing no signs of his illness. He is the ruler of the house. Then I have Hide. She got the name because when I rescued her from her original owner( I rescued 3 from this owner), she was the last to come out of hiding-and started licking my hands .She is about 5 years old now. The I rescued Pipes last summer. He came into the clinic I work in(I am a veterinary assistant). Someone found him pulling himself down the highway. His pelvis was possibly broken. He wasn'y even 6 weeks old! He was thrown from a cars window apparently.I adopted him of course. He is now bigger than my other cats and is only 10 months old! He got he name because he sounds like bagpipes. He never stops purring.( and he sure can meow when he wants too)He is doing fine now.
I also have 2 dogs( a Belgian Terveron and a mixed breed, and numerous fish).
I don't think I could ever live without having cats
