Crosspost...Extremely Urgent - Kitten needs home

We found a baby kitten on the highway a few days ago. She is the size of your palm. SHe is very cute and desperately needs someone to take her in. I cannot have her here. My husband wants me to bring her to Caps or the shelter. However, when I called them they say she will be put down because she is under 2 lbs. THere is no room for cats right now. I do not want to see this poor baby die! Please someone help us. She must go today. She is black withsome blonde on her. She is a DSH. She seems healthy and has a great appetite.
