So far out in left field I got lost
Here it is a nice lazy Saturday morning and the first in a long time that I haven't had to get up and go to work. The Sammycat and Oscar decide that they had some kind of squabble and want to get into a fight right on the bed.....on top of me
Ok boys it's time to calm down Momma doesn't need to get cut up before coffee. So how has your day started

Movin' on up!
I have to work. Alarm was set for 5:00 but I woke up at 4:00. I left Rowdy out of her crate, last night and she tried to start a romp with Opie. HE was sleeping on top of my chest of drawers and was having no part of her. Oh, well - this gave me more time for coffee and a little time here.

My morning started by Felix gently patting my forehead to waken me and then my daughter bustling in to tell me what she wanted for breakfast. Them the rest of the catkingdom woke and joined in.

IA. If you need me, just meow..
This morning I awakened to a full bladder. no kitties stomping on it thankfully!
Twig was sleeping under the covers behind my legs, Rocket was curled up over the covers right behind him, Isis was sleeping in the cat hammock, and Luna was in the basement checking it over, the scary plumbers were here yesterday replacing our water heater.
so she had to make sure everything was ok down there. LOL! otherwise, it's been a very quiet morning. I have to work at 2 but tomorrow I get a day off with Brad, haven't had one since the one I vented about last in here.

I woke up to a pail loader driving by my window at about 8:30. Dad was working on his vegetable gardens for the summer. I live on a dairy farm, so waking up to a tractor is nothing new for me.
I put on some old clothes and went out to work on my own garden behind the house. It's actually been a really good morning. Both my parents and I have been outside doing something. Mom, polyurathaning the new woodwork for the front room, Dad cleaning up his garden, me working on my first flower garden. It was nice. It's beautiful outside so that just adds to my enjoyment of my day.

I woke up with every intention of volunteering with my rescue today...but I felt kinda ill and had volunteered yesterday...so I'm taking it easy. Tomorrow I'm going to "drive by" some condos for sale.

I got up at 7 a.m. so I could drive for an hour in a blustering rainstorm to do a chair massage event, outside. It blew rain in on us all day. The good news is, we raised $300 for The March of Dimes.

Well... they probably did it on purpose because they miss their Momma and are very happy you are home more now. They wanted you to wake up and play with them - after your coffee of course

There's no place like home
4:30AM wake up call from the puppies barking to go out. At least they wake us rather than going in the house! Then back to sleep for 2 blissful hours before they bark again for their breakfast. Got up and painted the trim in the dining room, guest room, sewing room and hallway so that we can move our furniture back in those rooms (we just had our wood floors restored). Then off to the Humane Society to bring a load of garage sale items, played with the doggies and scritched the kitties. Home again and found company over so cooked everyone dinner. Then fed the cats and puppies and played with them for a while. Giving myself 30 minutes online then to bed for me! Tomorrow will be furniture moving day (anyone want to help me move a piano?).
