This Dam HOT SPOT If that's what it is will not go away it's been their for about 4 months now and i put salve / Ointment on it and all that does is make it sort of rubbery. Their is very little to no puss now and it's really not a scab but more like a hard coating that replaced her skin it's not getting any bigger perhaps a little smaller but the healing / closing rate is un real. Whats your thought I'll approach the pet are here and see what they have to say

Earlier this year i had posted when it started and it could be coincidence or not but i had also applied flea drops in that area and it was just red then and it had developed into this rubbery type of scab if ointment is applied to it otherwise it turns into a thicker hard scab that cracks when she scratches it .

It's near impossible to keep a bandage on it she keeps pulling it off i tried a cone but the sore is under the edge and it will make it worse i think I have some cat shoes that has Velcro straps they stay on a little bit but she pulled that off also It's not bothering her  i mean like a fever or it spreading the fleas are gone more or less maybe 1 or 2 here and their but nothing b4

So whats you thought here thanks Austin & Micro 1 Eye

P.S. Those are her Grand Kids What a Mottley crew they all got good homes here in town

I think a vet visit is in order. It probably needs to be cleaned and scraped for a culture to find out what's going on.  You can also try a soft cone or inflatable cone to help her stop licking it.  It could be triggered by a food allergy, so you might try a limited ingredient diet to see if that helps.
