Hello from Texas!

Hi, I'm Lea. I have been raised around dogs my entire life but adopted my first cat last month! Technically I found her, she was crying quite loudly at my front door one rainy morning. I believe it was like 40 degrees outside. Any decent human being couldn't have left that little fur ball out there! It's been interesting having a new pet but I definitely don't regret taking her in. Her name is Amira!

Oh! Welcome... I am new here as well, i saw Amira and her doggy pal and just had to say Hello! So beautiful and I LOVE HER NAILS! Thank you for loving and caring for a lost scared kitty.

No, those are nail caps. I live with a roommate and normally she doesn't allow cats unless declawed and at the time I moved in, I only had two chihuahuas. However after I found Amira we compromised on nail caps because I don't agree with declawing AT ALL.

Thank you, I had put her on Facebook for three days to see if anyone would claim her but no one ever did. Secretly, I'm glad because I fell in love almost instantaneously!

Yes, I had taken her to the vet on the 3rd for her shots and a spay. She's on her 5th day of recovery. [emoji]9786[/emoji]

I talked to the shelter and they said after three days of caring for a stray, if nobody claims her, I am allowed to keep her. That was last month so it's safe to say she's found her forever home! [emoji]128516[/emoji]
