Hey everyone!

I am a 21 year old girl from Norway.
I love to write, train strength training, singing/music and take photos (of my cat and nature mostly)

I adopted a cat from the norwegian "Redd Dyra" organization. That stands for Save the animals :) He was born outside, and when I got him he was approximately 4 months old and had lived 1 month in fosterhome with his mother. His mother was very scared of humans and ran the minute she saw me. I named my kitten Pepsi, and he was very scared but now he comes to me and my boyfriend to say hi and to be petted, he relaxes, he doesn't get scared of every sound or movement like before and he is just adorable! Full of energy and very playful at times, especially at nighttime or early in the morning.
I'm so glad he is feeling safe now

A very warm welcome to you and Pepsi!
He's really a gorgeous cat and those eyes are adorable.  So sweet and curious!  Pepsi looks very happy and content in his home - he's obviously very well loved.
I hope you will not take it amiss if I voice a warning about letting him play with yarn, as he is in the second photo.   Cats love eating strings and yarn and it can get tangled around their intestines and/or cause blockages, requiring surgery to remove.  Having said that, it's really a striking image with the bring orange yarn contrasting with his lovely black coat.  I hope we see lots more of him in the future.  This is a very friendly site and a great resource - be sure to explore the articles and search some of the threads to get some idea of what's offered.  Hope to see you in the forums!

Thank you very much for kind words!
Oh, I'm glad that you told me that about yarn! I did not know, my mom used to always use yarn to kittens, but now I won't do that! Better with toys made for cats :)

I want to do what's best for Pepsi, so nothing wrong with correcting me :)

Welcome to TCS!! What a sweetheart your little Pepsi is [emoji]128522[/emoji]. Thank you for giving him the loving forever home he deserves! I can see his mischievous nature in his little face. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or if you simply feel like sharing more Pepsi photos and stories.

I wish you a Pepsi and lifetime of love and snuggles together [emoji]10084[/emoji]️

Pepsi is really beautiful.  The fourth photo down is a real prize winner.  And I think your selfie is adorable!

Haha :p that selfie was actually a screenshot from a short video I took with him, much easier than just taking a selfie because it get's blurry if he moves. Like this:

He usually wants to smell my cellphone or look closely at it too haha

Pepsi is cute!

Be aware that kittens are fragile; don't give him anything as a toy he might swallow. Often his aspirations will exceed his abilities athletic wise, so he'll need watching. Which I know you'll do.

Keep us apprized!

One of the joys of cat ownership. Or ownership by cat.

It's why I have five . . .
