One of the local independent pet stores had a single bag of Smallbatch frozen raw food in turkey and I bought it to try. The only thread I could find on TCS was from a few years ago but it wasn't too helpful as no one seemed to know much about the food at that time. Has anyone tried the food since or has an opinion on it?

I haven't tried it as it's not available where i am :( but I've heard good things about it on facebook and the company has a good reputation. I would try it for my own crew if it was sold near me.

We recently finished a bag of turkey. My cats loved it and we had no issues. I also use their rabbit blend with added supplements on a regular basis.

Leroy gobbled up the Smallbatch turkey, Emma was a bit more picky and needed some Weruva spread on top before she would eat. The turkey is lower in calories than the NV, 37 vs 49. The other Smallbatch varieties are closer in calories to NV. The independent pet store has Smallbatch on sale this month so I'm going to pick up a few more bags in different proteins.
