We rescued Hunter about 2 weeks ago. He was with his litter mates all big fluffy kitties. I took him to his first check up and was rather surprised the vet brought up that he feels like he is Main Coon mix and that he also reminds him of a Bangel somewhat. Normally a vet will just call it a domestic of some sort. Anyways here he is what do yall think?
I think the Bangel might be a long shot but maybe some Maine Coon? His paws are quite big and the vet thinks he will be a big cat.

Really, I think its "enough with proposals".  Lets accept he is a domestic long hair, DLH, with your description added.

There is no big point to speculate if he may have some Maine Coon ancestry, or even the more far fetched Bengal.

He has a nice and distinctive marbles, but it doesnt make him into no Bengal.  Many classical tabbies has as nice marbles as your boy has.

Ps,  If ALL his littermates were fluffy and seemed big for their age, it tells both parents were longhair and possibly biggish.  So this increases the probability they were purebred of sorts, or at least, both of the same natural type...

Still withoug sure knowledge its not very meaningsful to speculate.  You will possibly see more as he gets adult.

Were the littermates rescued too?  Do you have the possibility to follow their development?  This could give some additional hints to solve the riddle.
