Hello I am fostering 6 kittens that are now 6 weeks old. About a week ago one of the kittens seemed sick and was losing weight so I took her back to the animal shelter for them to look at her. She had Coccidia and I am treating all of them for a week now with meds. I have been weighing all of them regularly and she has not gained any weight yet. She weighs about 13.50 ounces and the other ones are well over 21 ounces. She is eating a lot. She never ays and is super mellow just looking around or sleeping in her bed. Any suggestions?

Welcome! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Does she have formed poops now? It sounds like she is eating well and holding her own. As long as she is not losing weight and is eating well, she should begin gaining weight again soon.

Hang in there and keep us posted! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

If she is still diarrheatish, give her something containign different salts, ie a bought pedialyte or a home made pedialyte.

Otherwise, my standard recommendation is goats milk, esp raw goats milk - fresh or frozen.  Makes a difference sometimes.
