I'm currently the mama to two wonderful kitties (thinking of adopting a third, but need to make sure I'm financially stable enough for that first)- Quinn, my two month old baby girl I found in the backyard, and Eleven, my now eleven month old (her name will work for a bit!) adoptee from the shelter I volunteer at.
We reside in Arizona, but may be moving to Missouri next year. I can't think of much more to say, so-- pictures!
This is Quinn! The stuffed moose, Sammy, you see in some of the pictures is her favorite stuffed animal. When I first found Quinn, she was outside in my backyard. She was scared, skinny, and dirty. I don't know if her mother left her or not, I just heard meowing coming from the backyard and had to investigate. When I spotted her (I had been looking for ~30 minutes in the middle of the night), I couldn't help but pick her up and take her inside. I later read I should have left her to see if mama was still around (which I later learned that she was and I've been feeding mama cat and the rest of her babies), but at this point I'm keeping her regardless. I think she does better as a spoiled house cat. I thought she was a boy for a while, but no, she's a beautiful baby girl! She enjoys climbing up my body no matter what I'm wearing and using my wallet as a scratching post. She also enjoys over-indulging on formula she's too old for (I mix her medicine in it, it's the only way she'll take it).
This is Eleven. I fell in love with her at the shelter and knew she just had to be mine! She's eleven months old now, but I named her Eleven after the character from Stranger Things. She's very sweet and soft, though a bit skittish. She has the most vibrant blue eyes that the camera does no justice. When she was getting spayed, she lost oxygen in her brain and now she has trouble with her back legs. They don't sync up well with the rest of her body and it causes her to have trouble walking and running. I believe this has also given her some problems breathing (she makes strange noises when breathing sometimes, or she breathes very rapidly), but she seems to be just fine besides that. She's a bit ditzy, but I feel that could also be the oxygen problem, or maybe just her personality! I love her loads.
That's my little kitty family as of now. We all say hello to everyone here at the cat site!
