Hello guys, so last time i was concerned if my cat was pregnant or not She was not. Okay so actually my white orangish female persian cat has been going out with a gray stripped tabby and i saw them mating. I did not actually knoe much about nursing the cat and also i kepy back door half open so that is she wants to go outsidr she can come in. Becausr its really hot here so she likes to sit on grass. Okay so one day i came back from praying and i saw her having 4 kittens in a huge brick flower pot. Outside my main house door. So after 1 day she gave birth to 2 more kittens the same time
I put em in a box but the cat took them back to the birth place so i read about queen can injure the neck. So next morning i realised the two of the new kittens were attached by something big huge weird and due to which one kitten was nearly dead so i cut that thing but one baby had died by now, then after 24 hours 1 more kitten died. So she moved het kittens to very small suffocicating place and half hour ago i found 2 dead kittens lying beside other so i burried them. Now i again tried to move kittens and closed the door but she held em in mouth and stayed near the door. Now she took both to the same suffociating site and now she is finding the 2 dead kittens. I dont know whats happening please help this was my first experience with litter and i am 15 only myself. Btw i think those kittens died because miss mama cat looks like she is sitting on them

Please bring the mother cat and her two remaining kittens into your bedroom, and close the door so the mother cannot take the kittens out again.

Please put food, water, and a litter box in the room for the mother.

I fear that the remaining kittens will also perish if you do not keep them safe inside.

Is the mother cat nursing the kittens? They must eat to survive also.

Are you able to get the mother cat spayed eventually?

Why did you breed your cat?

Your kittens are dying due to exposure and lack of care. Please follow the advice above very carefully and you should be able to help them!

Mom can get pregnant again within a week of delivery and without going into heat. She must stay inside and away from intact males. Allowing her to mate with random males is dangerous as well. Potentially deadly diseases are spread that way.

I agree with the others that you should bring your cat inside, NO pregnant or nursing cat should be allowed outside for fear that she might have her kittens outside or they could be eaten by feral tom-cats. Please keep her inside and make sure she STAYS inside so that no more litters are produced -- this is especially important if spay facilities aren't available where you are.

Which country are you in? It sounds like Pakistan, but I'm unsure - I'm in Pakistan too, but a year older than you at 16.

It's mandatory that you bring the kittens inside ASAP, they can't survive outside, even with their mothers exceptional care. The large thing that you may have seen attached on them was probably the placenta that the queen didn't eat - maybe she isn't nursing them or looking after them properly, there's really no way to be sure unless you're monitoring them 24/7. This is a really big job, looking after kittens, and shouldn't be taken lightly!

Have you weighed the kittens too? Please do tell us the weights so that you can supplement them if necessary, keep us posted! And post some pictures of them so we can see what their situation looks like -- hope everything goes well!

Yep guys! She moved the kittens in the house 2 days ago and no i did not weigh them but they look very healty and the cat is kinda overnursing the kittens. I mean she feeds them all the time and so far 2 kittens are still alive. I mean 2 days since any death. Moreover , yea a spay facility is nearby like 1 km away. But i am not willing to do that because i know that my cat is not alive forever , so i would want to pet her kitten and Yes ! I am from Pakistan , Lahore. Where are you from? And i dont let my cat outside and even she is not anymore to go outside and i got my cat kitten cat food for extra nutrients and a bit of milk aswell.

It's good that she's inside now, please don't let her outside again!
Many kittens look healthy even if they ARE underweight, weighing them everyday is important so you can catch any problems quickly and save their life! They should gain 10g a day, or around about there. I personally think it's impossible to overnurse a kitten, they'll be eating just as much as they need [emoji]128522[/emoji]

I'm in Lahore too! I'm originally from Britain though! :-) That's good, you can start feeding her that as well! Make sure you let her have as much food as she needs, her bowl should be full all the time!

But I think you should REALLY get her spayed, having her have kittens just because you know she'll die isn't a very good plan - it could make her die sooner if she gets a deadly infection or becomes weak from all the babies. Please spay her now that the babies are here, you won't be able to rehome all the kittens and a lot of money will end up coming out of your pocket!

I agree with the above. It's very likely that you will have less time with her if you allow her to have litter after litter.

Cats have no desire to be moms; they don't have emotional attachment to their future with children. Your kitty just wants to be a cat with you!

The actual act of mating is very painful. Birthing kittens and pregnancy can be dangerous, even deadly. Mating with random males is how diseases and parasites are spread.

In addition, unspayed females are likely to get pyometria, an infection of the uterus that is deadly if not treated. They are also prone to reproductive cancers.

The last thing I'll say is that your cats will not get along if they are all intact. You may want to keep your cat and her babies, but they will all be miserable together and fighting. Not to mention mating with one another if one is male...

Please reconsider. Let them all live their happiest, healthiest life with you.

I am "15" year old! Okay no need there will be no unwanted kittens i have a huge family and they all kinda pre-booked the kittens even people from our society wanted kittens, Actually petting cats is a growing trend near my area and most of thr family members are dissapointed to hear about the death and the main thing that might concern you is that one of the kitten is really very healthy and active , but unfortunately the other one is not gaining any weight and is barely moving , what should i do ? My nearby vet are not much master and i heard their life is very delicate.

You need to begin supplementing the struggling kitten. For now, can you put it to a nipple every hour so it has time to suckle? You will also need to get kitten milk replacer to supplement with a needle less syringe. Do you have a scale?

In terms of breeding, it is not just about the kittens. You are risking your cat's health and happiness. She should not just be treated as a kitten machine. She is in pain and in danger every time you let her mate and deliver.

You also need to be well prepared for emergencies with the kittens. They should not be allowed to die due to lack of care.

What kind of milk are you using? I would try to give 1ml every hour for now.

He needs to be fed tummy down, head up and one drop at a time.

Ok. No cow's milk though.

One drop at a time and let the kitten swallow to make sure it doesn't aspirate. I would give a little to the other kitten every few hours too.

Are you keeping mom 100% inside and away from males?

This is a big problem!! She will wind up pregnant again in no time. She can get pregnant within a week of delivery and without going into heat. It's much too soon and very unhealthy for her and the babies.

Please do whatever you need to keep her inside.

Please remove the kitten. Let her see you take it. Sorry the little one didn't make it.

Can you post photos of mom and the remaining kitten?

Yes, it is very hard on mom. Please think about whether you want to continue putting her through this.
