Good morning!
And Happy Friday! I'm taking Monday as a vacation day, so I've a lovely three-day weekend coming up!

Easy question this morning: When you want a snack, what is your go-to food?

With me, it's usually some potato chips. Or Cheez-its. A little something salty and crispy. Although I have been known to put some chips into a bowl, add some Cheez-its or some pretzels, maybe a few whole pecans or almonds and some chocolate chips. Or I'll throw some peanut M & Ms into the mix. A little salt, a little crispy, a little crunchy, a little sweet. Lots of YUM!

What do you munch on?

Usually fruit/dried fruit or a mini (vegan) protein bar. Sometimes fruit or veggie crisps (chips) too. Not very imaginative, I'm afraid :lol3:

Popcorn is definitely my favorite, give me my coffee, my popcorn, and my T-shirt that says :Cats, Books, Life is good" and I'm perfectly happy!

popcorn or some nuts: peanuts and cashews are my favorites now...or a couple pieces of sugarless hard candy

Salty - chips, popcorn, pretzels, etc.

I don't typically gravitate to sweets other than fruit.  I sometimes will but for the most part I find if I eat too much sugary stuff I feel awful afterwards.

most times, it's mini pretzels. occasionally, i'll have either some potato chips, peanuts, cheez-its, or some cookies for a snack. in hot weather months, i'll have a few spoonfuls of vanilla ice cream, as a snack but also to cool off a bit. during the winter, i many times will have some hot oatmeal shortly before bedtime, to warm me up a bit.

Currently it's Thin Bark w/Almonds.  It's pretty good and I foolishly bought the large bag at Costco.  It only has 3ish ingredients.  Dark Chocolate, almonds and sea salt.

It really depends on my mood. It might be something healthy like fruit or it might be cheetos or something like that if we have them.  Sometimes I go for the kids fruit snacks.

How come when I want a snack; it's hard to find a satisfying AND healthy one?

Chips. I really like the Lays barbeque chips and how it's sweet and salty. I also enjoy frozen green grapes.
