URGENT: Newborn kittens cannot recognise scent of mother after mother bathed

The mother had glue all over her so we had to cover her in oil and then bath her to get it out multiple times. The newborn kittens now are panicing around her. Please help.

Rub them with a towel and then rub her with it to put their scent on her. I bet she has a lot of weird smells on her, poor thing. If they have been using a towel or blanket as bedding up until now, rub her with that. Anything to get her scent back to normal.

Poor things!  How did she get glue all over her?  Has everyone calmed down?
