How far would you say

I found out patch was pregnant last week and got her seen at the vets I was told she could have days or weeks left and kittens are fully developed she has become a bit restless she has a nest set up and food and bowls where her nest is she disappears upstairs lots but I'm guessing this is for her to go toilet or to eat she has started to have a few mood swings and isn't eating much but tonight has become a bit more playful she has hit the really sleepy stage too her belly has doubled In size pretty much last week it was about 10cm now is about 15-20cm in width the other day I spoke to a vet due to stepping in a lube consistency liquid with a very light shade of brown like old blood and was told might be slow labour but nothing since has happened I spoke to the vet Saturday but stepped in the fluid Thursday/ Friday she said it wasn't a concern but as I said she isn't eating or drinking much and has become very restless

It sounds like she is getting close with the discharge you mention. Her belly looks big too.

I think it could be just about any day now. Have you seen any ripple movements like contractions in her sides?

I have seen what looks like kittens rolling around every now and then and then the kitten kick tonight she is being really silly when I stroke her she is gently nipping me and licking me and she has been breathing really fast for the last few days her belly has got massive too x

Doesn't sound like contractions. Just kitten movement. She may need a few more days.

That's what I think iv only just started to see the kittens move I could feel them before she is normally a very petite cat so I understand her fast breathing is probably due to having such a big bump it seems to have started to drop kind of thing as she has doubled in size her belly also seems to be growing downwards now if you know what I mean so I don't think she has far from her due date but still very unclear how far she is vets couldn't even really tell me how far gone or how many kittens it's her first pregnancy so I'm guessing she only has 2-3 x

I have been watching patch she started to dig at my sofa tonight then laid on my table she is breathing quite fast and I then see a wriggle in her belly then her back started twitching her belly has dropped as they say so would just like to know so if she needs me I can be there for her she is starting to clean down stairs and looks as tho she has had a bit of diarrhoea too like we would

It sounds like she may be in early labor.

I have moved her into my room as she has started panting her ripples and back twitches has stopped but she is panting like crazy no visable contractions as of yet I think she is in early stages of labour x

We think she is in labour atm kittens will hopefully be here soon I will see if I have her kitten pics on fb as lost them when I changed iPhone x

She is in labour first kitten is coming she has been contracting again for half hour pushing for 15mins x

She is in labour trying to push the first kitten out x

If she pushes for an hour with no success she will need a vet.

Did everything go okay?

Hiya all went well she gave birth to 5 beautiful kittens 3 boys 2 girls
2 ginger
2 black and white
And 1 tortoise shell just like her I will try and get a pic of all 5 soon she was amazing didn't hear a single noise out of her xx

They are all here just all hiding lol xx
