I lived in Guate for several years and adopted my sweet bb girl about a year ago.. I moved back to the States in December so if anyone is trying to transport a kitty from Central America to the US and needs help/info let me know!
Anyway, she was born in Guatemala and I adopted her from a hostel... the man at the hostel gave me a long lecture about how she has actually "a real lineage" etc but I think he was probably just comparing her to the sweet street cats that are a thousand generations removed from their original heritage.
She's a beautiful tabby, for sure, but I was wondering if anyone had any insight at all as to what her lineage might be, and how she/her mom and dad possibly wound up in Guatemala. She is at the very least unlike any other Guatemalan cat I've ever seen.
Also, the pictures may not show accurately... but she is tiny. She's more than a year old and weighs no more than 11 pounds-- not due to any health issues!
Here are the pictures and thanks for your help!!
