Hi, I'm new to this site so forgive me if the formatting is off
I am taking care of a young kitten, about 2 or 3 months (Im not positive about her age) and Ive noticed she has been squinting her eyes and they look to be red and the slightest bit swollen on the tissues around her eyes. The thing is, its not constant it just seems to happen suddenly maybe once a day for 30 mins to an hour, and its not both eyes or one in particular, it switches. There is no discharge and she doesn't seem to notice it. Thanks, I appreciate any input!

It sounds like she may need an antibiotic ointment from the vet. Can you take a photo next time it happens?

She may have conjunctivitis, but she needs to see a vet asap for medicine. You don't want to take any chances with the kitten's eyes!

Sorry, yes that's what I meant.  Photo to show the vet just in case it's not flaring up at the time of appointment.
