I have recently had a vet (online) recommend NAET treatment for my cat with severe allergies that was diagnosed with Feline Idiopathic Ulcerative Dermatitis (FIUD).
Oral steroids are not strong enough to handle his symptoms & two trials of Atopica have failed. (vomiting & diarrhea) The only thing that works is steroid injections & they are given as needed anywhere from 4 to 8 week intervals. My doctor is very concerned (as am I also) that he will eventually develop diabetes.
Vet mentioned on our last visit that they have a new drug for pets that cannot tolerate Atopica. He says it has only been approved for dogs at this point. He said I would be the first person he called when it is approved for cats! I am hopeful ... but have no idea when this will happen? So in the meantime ....
I just would like to get some feedback from someone who has tried this NAET & what their experiences were? Changes? Success? Anything would be helpful ... even negatives are most welcome!
I would especially be interested in anyone who did it on a 'remote' basis. This is what I would be forced to do, as I live in a very small town far from holistic vets.
Thanks in advance for any feedback you may have.
