There seem to be an awful lot of cats crossing the bridge these days!

To all of you left behind: just know that the Rogue is there, looking after the new arrivals. That's because he loves cats, and is curious about anything new. There will, for sure, be a certain amount of butt sniffing, grooming, snuggling, wrestling and chasing going on. There might be the occasional unlucky live prey involved (this is a cat party, not a rodent one).

He's been there for a little over a month now and he likes to keep busy.

Just sayin' - while us poor folks down here are doing the grieving and missing, someone else out there is ready to party, pain-free and having fun.

(oh, and being silly, at times)

Thank you so much for showing us a different view on this site! I would love to think they are all having the times of their lives at the Bridge. We are so involved with our grief that we forget they are at peace now, no more suffering and worries.  I pray we can all think of them with a smile at that great new adventure they are having with all those new friends!

This thread makes me smile. I am glad to know that 'the Rogue' is looking after things up there.

I hope he keeps all past arrivals, and the new ones, entertained, too.

Looking at his photo, I am pretty sure he does.

You are right, we down here miss them a lot, and forget that our beloved companions are pain-free, doing other things.

So that's why I haven't had a "visit" from Sebastian! The Rogue is to blame!
Giving Sebastian all this attention that he loves so much. He's too busy right now with all his new friends.

Of course - the Rogue always keeps busy, which in turn keeps everyone else busy! He especially likes kind cats who can be sniffed all over, multiple times. Then he'll try to wrestle. Then he'll discover some prey, and show it to his friends. The Rogue isn't very good at catching prey (unless he accidentally sits on it), but sure loves an audience. And he'll show Sebastian fun things that weren't heard of before, like eating packaging peanuts and making wall art using dirty paws

I'm sure you must miss the Rogue terribly but how nice to think of him making new friends and enjoying himself cavorting over the bridge!  My Wesley and Milo were probably there to greet him and I hope everyone is having great adventures!

As the Rogue thinks, the more the merrier!

I probably got conditioned by growing up reading all those stories that start when protagonists die and then go on have adventures in some other place. It kind of makes sense, if they choose to do so. And I'm sure the Rogue chose the adventure track. Glad that Wesley and Milo did so, too
