Autumn must have known what today was because she wouldn't leave me alone. She wanted hugs all morning.
My friend is in one of the two bands I want to see there, and apparently he's doing a gig up north of where I live with another one of his bands (I've lost count of how many bands he's in) after the other show. Which mean's he'll be traveling a good hour to an hour and a half to get from one gig to the other! That one looks like it might be actually doable though depending on when it starts. I guess the Beer Can'd Fest isn't going on nearly as late this year. And also how much the cover is - I don't normally care about cover with local bands, but I have to this weekend.
Well, maybe something will happen to make it doable. If not, there's always next year, right?

Asha's had a wonderful time - that white duvet is her favourite, and bed - cuddles with meowmy are one of her all time favourite things :heart3:

I went for a walk this morning before it got too hot. Got home opened the door and a cat ran out as soon as there was space for his furry body. Of course he went and hid under his favorite bush ( I really hate this bush). Called my son for tuna and the cat ignored the deliciousness set before him. Sent him in to wake up Kim - she has no qualms about kneeling down and reaching under the prickly evergreen and grabbing said cat. He is now curled up in his cat tree asleep. On the plus side I was able to retrieve the leash that was 'lost' under this bush last year.
What a naughty cat! They do like making us work hard sometimes. You'd think they thought we had nothing better to do than be 100% dedicated cat slaves

We are currently seeking our mail from yesterday. It never arrived and we have specific items that were supposed to show up in it. Very frustrating.

Ugh - I hate it when mail goes astray. Even more so when it's something specific you're waiting for. Hope you track it down soon 
Our mail doesn't get here until 5pm. So frustrating. Have to wait and remember to call on problems the next day instead of getting it settled right away. @NewYork1303 does it have a tracking number?
Next year, next week, next month... lol. Lots of bands means they play all the time. I just haven't gone out a lot lately so haven't seen them.
