Okay so I know this is a site about cats, but many of you, like myself, love all the creatures of the world.
I have 4 dogs, a soon to be kitten, a rabbit, a frog, and an in and out array of fosters.
Well one of my four dogs has gone missing, last seen at 7:30 this morning eastern time.
He's my baby, the one I picked out myself and have raised from six weeks old. He just turned a year old this February, and I haven't felt this sick to my stomach in a long time.
He never ever stays away for this long and I can just feel that something is wrong. He isn't neutered, his appointment is for next week, go figure. I think maybe he got wind of a female in heat, but honestly our other three dogs are spayed females and he never so much as mounted them, or went anywhere without our lab. I'm so worried I don't know what to do, I've searched everywhere [emoji]128546[/emoji]. Again I'm sorry and I know this isn't about dogs...but I just needed to vent.

It's possible someone might have found your dog and put something online. You can try craigslist. I think a lot of people in my area use it, and that's one of the things animal control told me to use when I was looking to see if the cat I found had owners looking for him. Look in both the lost & found and pet sections. Also, even though you don't have a facebook, you can try googling your area to see if there's a county or city facebook page for people to post missing and found pets. Something like that would probably should up if you googled something like lost pets (your area/your city/your county).

I've read about people putting out a box with clothes/blankets with their scent on it to draw the animal back to their yard too.
