Hi TCS...new here!

Hi TCS members!

I have been reading various posts and threads for a few weeks now. Already I have learned so much from health, nutrition and that my cat is completely normal in her kookiness...LOL..but the best thing I have learned is what a wonderful, caring group of people belong to this forum. You all support and cheer each other on with the common thread of your love of felines....in this day and age, so amazing!

Ok, about me and more importantly my fur baby, Miss Kitty. I adopted my girl when she was 2 on my birthday (BEST gift I have ever given myself) and she is now 5. My goal when I when to the humane society was that I wanted to adopt the adult cat that had been there the longest. After a long day of meeting lots of sweet cats, a spunky brown tabby was bright to meet me and I just knew she was for me. As it turns out, she had been at the shelter the longest....meant to be, for sure!!! Miss Kitty is very loving, chatty, playful and the best friend I could ask for. 

I look forward to not only getting advice along the way but hope that maybe I can share my expires/advice along the way as well.

I'm going to try hard to upload a photo of Miss K. for last christmas as she was goofing around on one of her cat trees.

A big welcome to you and Miss Kitty!     And thank you for saying such lovely things about the forum!  You're right - this is a very caring group of people here and everyone adores cats. I'm glad you finally joined.  Miss Kitty is a beautiful girl.  I love the perspective of the photo.  It makes me want to reach through the screen and give her a rub on that cute little nose.  Your story of how you came to adopt her is almost exactly like mine.  I asked for the two cats who had been there the longest and adopted them on the spot.  That turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life.  It sounds like you and Miss Kitty were meant to be together - she was just waiting for you to come get her!  

Thank you both for the warm welcome, DreamerRose and Margd, I appreciate it. Isn't it funny how these little ones find us?? I don't know many details but I do know that my girl had a rough road (like far too many) on her way to me but now that I have her, I'm not letting go!!

Aw.  Miss Kitty has an adorable face.  She has a lot of love in her eyes - it's obvious she loves you as much as you love her.
