Oh, so I wouldn't stress them by introducing the dad.

The food looks fine. What are the main ingredients? You want them to be meat, not grains. Can you feed wet kitten food as well

Do you have a nest set up for mom and kitten? You should, so the kitten can't go far. You can and should also add a heating source, like a rice sock. That way if mom walks away, kitten will stay warm. They can't regulate their own temperature until they are three weeks old.

I have heating pads and hot water bottles, they do have a nest, right next to my bed, the kitten cant get under the bed or go to far away from mom cat, i have all hardwood floors so they retain cold so i always have to have something down on the floor for the kitten, but the first ingredient on the bag says chicken, but then it starts to list grains

Do you have them in a box or a drawer or something? That would be best to contain the kitten and hot water bottle, etc. You just want to be sure that they don't overheat, so have the heating only in a part of the nest.

The food sounds fine. It's important to feed wet food too.

Ive tried to give her wet food but she just doesnt eat it, she will take a bite here and there but not like she does this dry food. I have them in a big box my brother picked up from work, i believe she is going into labor again, she is breathing heavily and is starting to become more vocal with me

The kitten chow is fine, and the box sounds good too. Let us know if she has another kitten. Sometimes they do have after pains, so we'll see which it is.

I have no idea if this is good or not but she had taken it upon herself to move the kitten and herself onto my bed, she is currently sleeping almost upside down with the kitten feeding, im gonna take the time to change her bedding again

Can you make another nest or put the one you have on your bed? The kitten could fall off the bed, which is obviously a problem.

She is now laying in the nest in the original space, i think shes not going to give birth to any other kittens, her belly is becoming very lose and soft.

Then she was just having after pains. She wanted to be on your bed but she wanted her kitten with her. Poor mama! She's been through enough already!

I hope shes not playing me and that i can get a good nights sleep tonight with no worries about any more kittens... but is it normal for her to lay on the kitten? Its clearly not safe for him cuz she could squish him

Can you post a photo of your box setup? It doesn't sound like she's totally comfortable and it may not be big enough. She may also need a darker area or some more privacy.

Shes seeming to be comfy right now, shes laying down with her baby, shes like half upside down right now, theres more than enough room, she only lays on him when she picks him up by the back of his neck, when she leaves and comes back with him she puts him down in a corner and by the time she lays down hes under her

Throwing up once isn't a huge cause for concern. If she does it again or can't keep anything down you should call your vet.

You can call your vet and tell him your concerns. Her body has just gone through a trauma.

How is she doing now?
