Hi everyone!
This last week I noticed my little Milo has a little bald spot by his eyebrow whiskers along with some weird dry crusty stuff happening near by. It doesn't look like there's an underlying wound. I took a warm wet washcloth to it today to gently see if it was just something gooped in his fur. As I started to lightly rub the area, I mean ever so lightly, little itty bitty tufts of hair were falling out with this crusty junk at the base. He has an appointment a week from Monday but if it's something urgent I don't want to wait. Thanks for any insight!

Have you changed food or added a new food recently? I'm only asking because when my cat is having an allergic reaction to a food she gets little red sores in that area. This  has happened when I tried a new cat litter.

i would take your cat in to see a vet a soon as you can.

I hate to say this but it looks like ringworm to me.

Be careful about touching it, and get some athlete's foot cream with terbinafine in it and put a thin film on it twice or more times per day.

It takes quite a while to cure, and stay on the watch for any new spots coming up.
