STILL can't see the videos, as my computersaurus rex won't allow me to update my flash.  It's downloaded, but I can't install it.  We're going to the computer doctor next month to take care of it, and I'll get to watch then ALL in a marathon sitting!!!  Won't that be fun!

But it enough to know that he is walking now.  My heart is doing the backstroke through a big puddle of happy!

I just came across this thread this afternoon and have spent the last hour reading through all 13 pages. When I read the first few entries, and the dates were the 8th and 9th, I thought they were from just a couple days ago. Then I realized they were from February and that  I had a whole month of updates to read.

Little Reeve's recovery is a true miracle and would not have happened if not for you, @jennyrosalie.   Congratulations!  Great job!
Now that I've found this thread, like other posters, I'll be impatiently waiting for future updates.

Re. the suggestion that Reeves have his own FaceBook page (in a comment by foxxycat foxxycat  on post #366), there are certain problems with FaceBook.  Some people (including me, and most of the really computer savvy people I know) simply don't do FaceBook.

FaceBook's privacy policy amounts to a non-privacy policy.  When you sign up for FaceBook you agree that they're allowed to track your Google searches!  People ask me why this bothers me so much, given that there's no such thing as online privacy any more, what with the NSA tracking everything, and the answer is, the NSA may be tracking me, but it's not because I actively gave them permission to do so.  There's no way that I'm going to deliberately sign up for Zuckerberg to track me as well.

Perhaps more important (or less, depending on your point of view), pictures that you post on FaceBook no longer belong to you.  They belong to FaceBook.

I would suggest instead that Reeves deserves his own blog.  You can sign up for one for free at Wordpress.  You retain your copyrights.  And people here who do have FaceBook pages (or, for that matter, blogs of their own) can post links to it.  We could start a Twitter meme: #GoReevesGo, followed by a blog link.

I would also suggest that, for the moment, jennyrosalie jennyrosalie has more than enough to do just taking care of Reeves, and anything like this needs to wait until after Reeves is a great deal better.  We have a thorough record of Reeves' progress right here on TCS; that should continue to be available to us when the time comes.

I started crying when I saw the video.

I bet it won't be long before he is running around and getting into everything.

I tried to get pictures of him standing but he doesn't stay up long before he falls so they are kind of blurry. He is doing pt and cold laser therapy right now. The vet was excited by his progress. The vets here are used to the small town, they know me on a personal level as I rescue and not many people do locally so I'm in there all the time.I take the hard cases the ones the big rescues with funding won't take. I've had puppies set on fire, a severely abused German Shepherd, the kittens covered in oil, bottle babies, 9 bottle babies with ringworm, a kitten thrown out of a car covered in chemical burns, extreme hoarding cases and I've been doing it for 9 years so the vets feel comfortable being honest with me and knowing that I understand the chances when taking something like this on. I'm always up for a challenge if it means saving a life. The way the vet was looking at it was that I could save more animals with the money and time spent trying to save him BUT I don't back down or give up I just try harder, I didn't expect a full recovery but I knew he was going to make it. Once he purred in my arms there was absolutely no way I could give him up. You guys have all been amazing and I'll keep updating you on his journey!!!! I feel like your all just as big a part of this as I am. I can't get on as much because of my two jobs and school but whenever I get a moment or he has a big improvement I'll post it!

I wonder if that cold laser therapy has alot to do with this?!

Last night one of my cats with bad arthritis had her first session of hot laser treatment and in the past night I have seen improvements. I am cautious but hopeful.  I have heard so many things about laser and the price was pretty reasonable considering how little time is needed. And no operation. The worst thing is we were required to wear goggles even kitty. I really didnt think she would tolerate it. Next time I will get a picture..looked like a classic pilot from the old days..she tolerated it pretty well and wish we had this ten years ago..Good job Jenny!!!

I am in awe at how much home treatment has changed in the last five years. Keep up the good work.

You are a special soul who shines brightly and gives the rest of us hope that we too can do whatever we need to do and not back down. As another said=you ROCK!

Gorgeous!  And notice, even when he gets onto the floor he isn't inclined to just sit down and drag himself; he wants to walk properly.  Go Reeves, Go!  He's so fearless.  That may be your greatest accomplishment, Jen, considering what he's been through.
