Strange behavior

My aunt rescued this male kitten almost 2 years ago. She got him neutered and he is now one fat cat. Since then, he's been very sweet and lazy. But lately, she told me that he's been clawing and biting her. Is there a reason for this aggressiveness?

It's hard to tell without more information, but in the case of a personality change that is really out of nowhere, the first thing to do is to go see a vet who can make sure it's not a medical issue, and that's what I'd suggest she do first.

The second thing she should consider, if he is medically okay, is if there are any changes to his environment that have occurred that may have stressed him out and impacted his behavior- has she moved? Has she gotten another pet? Has she redecorated?
