Long story short, she got out for a day and isn't spayed (we were waiting for the discount spaying which is in 4 weeks). She has put on a tiny bit of weight (belly feels a little harder). She acts normal though. Crazy imaginary races at 3 a.m, running around trying to catch birds, going slightly crazy attacking the stairs and feet that walk on the stairs lol. She got out just about 3 weeks ago. This is the best picture I could get. She was getting mad I wouldn't let her suckle at my blanket lol

I posted pictures of her nipples. I could have sworn they were the other day then the next day they weren't. I checked again today because it's about 3 weeks since she got out and the pics show how they look.

I see the photos, but I don't know what her nipples normally look like. :)

There is a good chance she's pregnant. Kittens are a lot more expensive than a full-cost spay, so you might consider bringing her in asap.

Right. I had a cat spayed right after I gave away her 36th kitten. The vet said she was pregnant afterwards. I couldn't feel bad about it after dealing with all those kittens.

Her appointment is in 4 weeks so if she is pregnant it will be far to late plus I couldn't do that at that late in the stage. But because this is something the place I foster kittens from is having I don't want to hold up an appointment when someone else can use it. So I want that's why I'm trying to figure it out. I've dealt with a pregnant cat once before but it was so long ago so I'm rusty on what to look for.

Right, 4 weeks would be much too late to spay. This is why I am recommending you consider paying for a full-cost spay sooner rather than later. It will be a lot cheaper in the long run.

I will once I figure out if she's pregnant or not. I don't feel comfortable "aborting" babies. :(

I was the same way with my Mama cat! My girl got out one weekend when I was out of town. She was due to be spayed, but I canceled it when I realized she was pregnant. Mama blessed us with 1 kitten, and he is so precious! We are keeping him and getting Mama fixed once baby is weaned. Then get baby neutered when he is old enough, which in my area is 12 weeks old. I am lucky in that we have a spay/neuter clinic here that runs specials every few months.

Yes they did. At first it was hard to tell because sometimes they looked pinker and others not so much. The further we got into her pregnancy, the pinker they got and they stayed pink. Her name actually is Mama. Her baby doesn't have a name yet.

That's how I feel. Like they change. But this is different than other times I've looked, they look a bit bigger and her top ones are even pink. They aren't dark dark or huge but there is a difference. I refuse to terminate so if she is so be it but I want to take care of her properly and make sure I cancel my appointment so someone else can use it. Do you know how much longer until I definitely will know ? This is my little brat now hehe

Awwww she is pretty! I understand, I felt the same way with my girl. I just could not terminate her pregnancy. Everyone is different and there isn't any right or wrong there. Yes even her top ones were pink, and yes they do get bigger. Even more so as they get more milk in them. With my girl, I was seeing the things you are seeing and figured she probably was expecting. I took her to the vet 4 weeks after she had gotten out and they were able to feel that she was pregnant by doing a palpitation exam of her tummy and by looking at her nipples, etc. They didn't do an x-ray because my vet said kittens don't show up on the x-ray until around 6 weeks. My other option was just watching and waiting, but it was driving me nuts not knowing. lol They also told me to add kitten food into her diet and KMR once a day as well for extra protein and calcium.

When I was younger we didn't know my cat was pregnant until i went to find my dog at the time, to walk her and found her helping the cat clean her babies! Hopefully soon I'll know for sure. She got out in the beginning of Januaru. So I'll be in your shoes next month if she is.

The average cat pregnancy is 65 days.  the nipples turn pinker on day 21.  The mom begins to get bigger around 5 weeks and you can see the kittens move 2 -3 weeks before she gives birth.

But will her stomach get hard? Her belly isn't big per say but it feels a bit harder? Her nipples kind of change so I'm not sure
