I've just gotten a small bag of Purina Pro-Plan kitten for Jeepers and I'm wondering what everyone thinks of it. I decided on the Purina because it was the only one that came in a trial sized bag. I didn't want to buy a large bag until I knew she'd eat it. She absoulutely love it!!! I just wanted to know if it was a healthy food to be giving her.

When I wanted to switch cat food from Purina Cat Chow, I considered both Purina ONE and Purina Pro Plan. I compared ingredrients and found that Purina ONE (Chicken & Rice) and Pro Plan (Chicken & Rice) were basically the same product. Pro Plan had 3 additional ingredients but was a few dollars more expensive comparing pound for pound. I ended up choosing Purina ONE and have been satisfied with it. I'm sure that I (well, my cat) would have liked Pro Plan too.

We've used Pro-Plan dry and recommend it to people who get their food in the grocery store over the other foods available there. We use the Pro-Plan canned food quite a bit. Our experience with both it quite good.

I was feeding my ferals Purine ONE for a while. I switched them to Chicken Soup for The Cat Lover's Soul just recently. It is the best food you can buy in a grocery store!

We don't get ANYTHING that cool in our supermarkets. If you want anything like Purina, Royal Canin, Science diet? you have to go to a pet store. The only reasonable dry food they sell in my supermarket is Iams and Jeeps has recently decided she hates them (after eating them for four months
).

Thanks for your comments everyone
. I'll keep her on it until she tires of it as well

I was meaning Purina ONE! You can't buy any super premium cat foods in my local grocery stores... I wish!

I buy Purina ONE at Weis Markets or K-Mart. I've also seen it at Giant Foods and a small dinky family owed Shurfine Store. Pro-Plan can only be bought in my area at Feed Mills or Pet Stores.
