Hi. My cat has feline herpesvirus. He was diagnosed with it when he was little and I've been giving him lysine powder since then. His eyes never get watery anymore unless I don't give him lysine a couples of days but when he has a flare up he has sneezing moments and his a bit congested. Besides lysine his vet gave him some supplements called Feline Immune System Support. I don't see a difference in him right now with the new supplements, but hopefully in the long run they will do something for him.
My question is. Do you give your cat anything for this virus?
Any supplements, vitamins? Is there something that I should try that would be better for his sneezing flare ups? Any vitamins out there that would help him get a stronger immune system?
I will gladly look into every suggestion.
Thank you
