We went to a Thai restaurant a few weeks ago and I had Larb Gai for the first time and enjoyed it. I may try making it here tonight.

That sounds good. I love butternut squash and black beans 


I just ordered a veggie sub to pick up later from Publix (our local grocery chain). 5 grain italian bread, lettuce, spinach, tomato, onions, black olives, jalapenos, cucumbers and garlic pickles. Also sharp provolone cheese that I will take off and give to the furkids. Lilith and Bailey love that stuff.

Chicken fingers and potato wedges. I'm not in the mood to cook so my husband is picking it up from the grocery store on the way home.

I finally cooked!

Just a pork tenderloin, smashed potatoes, and corn.... I am stuffed!

It is good.  And it makes a lot, so I freeze the leftovers for easy meals on days I don't feel like cooking.

I think we're going out for dinner tonight with some friends.

My birthday was this past Sunday; my GF's husband's birthday was yesterday, so we shall celebrate both our birthdays tonight. Rick asked me where I wanted to do; I don't care as long as the place has a good margarita. It will probably be a steak place as that is our friends' preferred restaurant.

Who knows. I have food here to make a new recipe - a cabbage type salad with beans, corn, avocado and chicken, but I think Aaron is going stir crazy from being home for a week and may need to get out.

I sauté some onions, crushed garlic. I add a large can of whole tomatoes which I crush in the food processor before using. I like a chunky sauce. You can use a can of crushed tomatoes in place of the whole. I add tomatoes to onions and garlic, bring to a slow boil; add basil or oregano, salt and pepper to taste. I add some tomato paste also to thicken and add flavor to it. Once it comes to a boil I add whatever meat I want.. sausages, meatballs, chicken; let it cook . I also add a carrot to it. This gets rid of the acidic flavor. Many people add sugar. I keep tasting it for herbs....you can also add some wine if you wish...

Chicken burgers tonight, just a quick dinner because we are going out tonight and have to drop the kids off at the in laws.

I had a busy day at work and hubby is sick. We are being lazy and ordered in some appetizers from a pizza place. Neither of us actually wanted pizza tonight. I am waiting for my food and my youngest cat is kneading and drooling on me while I am sitting on the couch watching tv,
