well, my plan is/was to make some velveeta mac and cheese (really yummy!) and cook up a couple sweet italian sausage links to go with it. we'll see about that -- i'm awfully tired today. if i don't do the mac'n'cheese and sausages, i'll probably fry up 2 or 3 eggs.

I'm thinking some type of salad. I need to go through the refrigerator and see what is getting old.

Ham slice done on the indoor grill. With butternut squash.

I found a recipe for butternut squash that I'm going to try. The squash is cooked, then sliced thickly. Layered in a pan and topped with panko and Parmesan. I hope it's good.

I'm having butternut squash too. Curried with garbanzos over basmati rice.

Pam that sounds so good.

I have some ground beef defrosting. It should be ready tomorrow. Today I am at a loss.

Whatever Dear Richard wants to make for dinner is OK with me. We have vegetable soup in the fridge. We have some pasta sauce in the fridge. And there is pizza in the freezer. All quick and easy. I have a hair appt tonight and won't get home until later on.

I made a big pot of my Dad's chili (otherwise known as, Papa's Chili). It's from a recipe he got from a cook in WWII and OMG! It is the best ...and ONLY chili I will eat!

The funny thing is... Just as I was adding the spices and started stirring it, my phone rang. I saw who it was and answered, "Man! You have a nose like a blood hound!" and my sister (who was calling) said, "I'm on my way!" and hung up! LOL  Thirty minutes later she was walking through my door! Since the word got out, my daughter and her roommate stopped by (she was kind enough to bring her own Tupperware for 'carry out'), and my brother is stopping by on his way home from work tomorrow to get his share!

Yum, chili sounds so good. I have a turkey thawing that I was going to roast today but I think I will do it tomorrow. I'm exhausted today and not in the mood to cook much.
