Excellent weights for both! Have they nursed? And how's mama kitty doing? Does she appear to have more kittens to deliver?

They are both nursing at the moment. Mama is busy cleaning herself and I don't think she has any more but I'm going to hang out with her for a little while to make sure. Both placentas were delivered as well.

It's good they are nursing. It's also wise to hang out with her for a spell. Sounds like she's done well! She's such a beautiful cat. Can you tell what the babies look like yet? And have you placed her food, water, and litter nearby for her convenience?

Is the white kitten nursing well? It looks like fur is missing from its lower front legs, which is usually a sign of prematurity. If it's latching and nursing well it should be okay though.

I was just going to post about that, I keep trying to get it to but it won't seem to latch on. The other one has no problem at all.

Of course right after I post that the white baby latched on and is nursing.

Keep an eye on this kitten. It's important whether it's latching and nursing well. If not, you may want to supplement until it's stronger. Did you buy any kitten formula?

I do have some but my husband bought a can of the liquid since that's all the store had when he went. I will get some powder in the morning though.

That's a good idea. The pre-mixed seems to cause digestive issues in kittens, so I only recommend the powder. Stay away from Hartz and Sergeant's brands. PetAg, GNC, and Royal Canin are all good. A dish a day is good for mom too while she's lactating.

Is the white baby able to stay latched?
