Hi all, I hope I'm putting this post in the right place. The boys have been doing well since all the recent chaos apart from one thing. Our new home is mostly hardwood. We have put down a couple area rugs and have carpet in our whole upstairs, but the boys do the majority of their playing on the first floor. I am not worried about damage to our floors, and know it is normal for kitties to slip and slide on smooth surfaces. It seems to everyone else that this is just amusing, but it often seems to hurt our kitties. All too often we will hear them playing/chasing a toy and then suddenly they're limping. We have seen them slide around when playing and assume this is the cause of the limps. Has anyone else had this type of problem? Anything we can do to the floor short of covering all of it? I know kitties have a high pain tolerance and will try to mask their pain so the limping hurts me to see. It never lasts long, they usually walk it off pretty quick. I am just concerned that that won't always be the case and one of these times they could get really hurt. Just looking for some insight as I've been feeling awful guilty when I see them in pain. Thanks!

Maybe put SoftPaws on them to give them a better grip?

They eat them, haha. Though I will try again - willing to try anything!
