I don't know if it's because we've had quite a mild'ish winter here in the UK, but Rosie has started to shed her fur. My neighbour has also noticed this with his dog.
How many times a year do they actually shed?.
Although she's a short haired cat, she's quite fluffy on her tummy. I try to brush her when she's going through her shedding so she won't get fur balls, but she hates it.
The only way i can brush her is to give her a cat treat in my left hand and brush her with my right hand!. Clever or what!!!.
