My cat has cancer ( Help)

I'm planning get them if its get worser. He is feeling better  now than a week ago... Purring, head butting, Eating decent amount of  food.. Drinks water.. Love our company.... The only down sides is walking.... My second cat was very mad at him today not sure why.. he started attack him but thank god we got it stopped quickly.. I just hope he didint get any wounds in his heads..

If miracle happens... If my cat  somehow does not get Lung meta can my cat have second chance for amputation his leg?

My cat  hyperthyroidism medicine ended.. We can only get them in monday... Im just worried if its condition get worse for 3/4 days without hyperthyroidism medicine.. 

Yes, he could get worse. I don't think any sort of medical change is good for him right now. Can you speak to the vet or a pharmacy?

I did get the medic today but  he didint take it.. I feel the ending is near... He was today very tired.. Does not eat much anymore...That one reason why it very hard to give the pill.. She starts meow very tiredly when someone touches him..  At least he drink water and milk and also metacam.. Im so heartbroken right now... I haven't gave him the pill for 2/3 days because it ended... Maybe is quality life have decreased because of that??

Does he seem to be in pain?

Its very hard to know but I guess  he is in pain because he does not eat much more than before and he is much more tired... He only licks the normal cat food and sometimes he eats raw meat, chicken and tuna.. Oh just 10 minute ago my cat jumped from bed which is very bad for his  tumor legs because it can break easily but thank god nothing happened. At least I hope not..... Im planning to get him stronger pain killer.

I'm so sorry for all of you that you're going through this.  Have you talked to your vet about when it might be time to put him to sleep?  If he's not eating and he seems to be in pain it might be time.

Not yet but he still eats little bit and drinks a lot.. He was pretty Ok yesterday but today not as good...

If you haven't done so, you might want to have an action plan with your vet, what to do in an emergency, especially on a weekend if vet services are not available. I am so sorry you are having to go through it, it is never easy but we never want our beloved ones to suffer even for a minute.

Ty for the link and  I got  8.. So it seems it not the quite time yet.. If my cats condition get   worser I'm calling  vet for stronger medicine...

 Not eating today... Only sips a lot of water and grooming a lot.  I bet it's because of the hype medicine.. He does not have crazy symptoms like  breath problems or something else.. So it does  not seems it has invaded in lungs..... Maybe if stronger medic might help him eat.. So I can feed him some hype pills.

I read that most of Osteosarcoma cat patient needs combination of other drugs to relief their pain.. So metacam is not alone very effective.

I know you love your cat very much, but please ask your vet how much relief stronger drugs can offer.  There may not be much of an increase to his quality of life, either because of different side effects or because it will make him more tired, etc.  His cancer sounds very advanced.

Not eating is very dangerous for cats.

True! Im gonna ask  a lot of question... Im buying new food... maybe he eats something today.. Sometimes he does not eat when he is eating same food for couple of days.

Good news! My cat started to eating little when when changed his food for new one! I'm so relieved!   He took hype pill with Cats candy! I feel so guilty that I didint change my cat sooner food! I think he started to piky eating  habits because  I have gave him quality food past these months..

Not only that but there are research that metacam also can decrease growth of non-small cell lung cancer...

METACAM cannot be used in large doses in cats, it will kill them.  This article was dealing with humans.  Metacam is an NSAID like aspirin, and cats cannot tolerate NSAIDS

I know about that. We dont give him large dosent.. We give him by weight.. That is the guide what Vet gave us.. 

My cat might have been losing weight.. So We still did gave him metacam buy is old weight 5 pounds.. I hope its not too much.

If he weighs less than five pounds you will want to adjust the dose.

I have forget about that.. I feel very guilty    Maybe that is the reason why my cat arent  doing so well? One of the side effect of metacam is loss of appetite.. The metacam ended today so I need to call for vet and Im gonna ask more question about dosing.. I live in europe.. So the metacam that we are using are not same as the Us version.. Us version are stronger and they use it mostly for dogs.
