My 11 year old cat received a full dental and had four teeth extracted on October 27th.

She was on Clovamax for 7 days and buprenophrine every 12 hours for about 4 days after the fact.  On the 30th, I noticed she started scratching at her ears.  By the 3rd, I found a bald patch under her chin with a scab and thinned out hair around her eyes and one small bald patch on her cheek.  Took her to the vet and she thought it was food allergies (this is the first time she's been off of her regular food).  She gave me some panalog to rub on her chin, and since then she has stopped scratching and her fur looks a lot better.

After the Clovamax, she vomited a couple times, and she had diarrhea, but as of last night her stools are getting more firm.  She is drinking, eating broth packets (I got some that are not supplements and that she should be eating twice a day... found if I blenderize them she will eat them right up, but she's still not eating enough to my liking).

So here's my question- she just doesn't seem quite "right."  She's peeing, having bowel movements, drinking, eating, and playing a little bit, but she is withdrawn.  She never looks like she is quite comfortable.  She usually loves laying on me and in the past I have had to push her off of me because she is overbearing.  However, right now, she will lay on me and purr but switch her tail like a mad woman and then jump off of me within a few minutes.  She's been hiding from me a lot more as well.

I'm wondering if she's stressed from going back and forth to the vet so much.  I had to originally take her in for a UTI (now cleared up), and then her dental, then rushed her to the e vet because I wasn't sure if a stain was vomit or urine (looked crystallized so I wanted to be sure), and then the appointment for her scratching.  Also, I have been a total helicopter parent and I follow her everywhere.  Could I be stressing my cat out or just annoying the heck out of her?  I've been trying to give her space, but then I worry that her tail twitching means she is in pain or the hiding means the same.

Does anyone have any experience in this?

Temp is fine. She actually perked up Friday night and ate two pouches of Soulistic and was playing with her mouse on her own and super snuggly. I believe it was the Clovamax because she did have diarrhea after finishing it but now her stools are reforming. She sees the vet tomorrow just to make sure her mouth is healing correctly. I think we're on the upswing. ;)
